Description
前記自発光素子を発光駆動させるために、当該自発光素子のアノード端子側より第一電流が供給できるように構成されると共に、前記第一電流の値よりも大きな値の第二電流を前記自発光素子に供給することができるように構成され、
前記自発光素子は発光駆動トランジスタと直列に接続されることで各画素を構成し、かつ、制御端子へ入力されるスイッチング信号により端子間が開閉される第1と第2の被制御端子を備えるスイッチングトランジスタが備えられ、
前記自発光素子と発光駆動トランジスタとの接続点に前記スイッチングトランジスタの第1被制御端子が接続され、前記スイッチングトランジスタの第2被制御端子には、前記第二電流を供給するための電源が接続され、
前記スイッチングトランジスタがオフの期間において前記第一電流が前記自発光素子に供給され、スイッチングトランジスタがオンの期間において前記第二電流が前記自発光素子に供給されるように構成され、
前記スイッチングトランジスタの第2被制御端子には、前記自発光素子に対して順方向に第二電流を供給するための電源と、前記自発光素子に対して逆バイアスの電圧を供給するための電源とが切り換え可能に接続されている点に特徴を有する。

Claims (1)
- 互いに交差する複数の走査線および複数のデータ線と、前記各走査線および各データ線の交差位置に配列されたダイオード特性を有する自発光素子を少なくとも含むことでそれぞれ画素を構成した発光表示パネルであって、
前記自発光素子を発光駆動させるために、当該自発光素子のアノード端子側より第一電流が供給できるように構成されると共に、前記第一電流の値よりも大きな値の第二電流を前記自発光素子に供給することができるように構成され、
前記自発光素子は発光駆動トランジスタと直列に接続されることで各画素を構成し、かつ、制御端子へ入力されるスイッチング信号により端子間が開閉される第1と第2の被制御端子を備えるスイッチングトランジスタが備えられ、
前記自発光素子と発光駆動トランジスタとの接続点に前記スイッチングトランジスタの第1被制御端子が接続され、前記スイッチングトランジスタの第2被制御端子には、前記第二電流を供給するための電源が接続され、
前記スイッチングトランジスタがオフの期間において前記第一電流が前記自発光素子に供給され、スイッチングトランジスタがオンの期間において前記第二電流が前記自発光素子に供給されるように構成され、
前記スイッチングトランジスタの第2被制御端子には、前記自発光素子に対して順方向に第二電流を供給するための電源と、前記自発光素子に対して逆バイアスの電圧を供給するための電源とが切り換え可能に接続されていることを特徴とする発光表示パネル。
