Description
本発明の第1の特徴は、一次局から二次局へデータパケットを送信する通信チャネルを有する無線通信システムであって、前記二次局はデータパケットを受信する受信手段と、受信したデータパケットの状態を指示する信号を前記一次局へ送信する受信確認手段とを有する無線通信システムにおいて、前記二次局は、データパケットが当二次局へ送信されたことを示す指示の検出時にタイマをリセットし、タイマが終了するまでアップリンク送信の特性を変更する手段を具える点にある。
図1において、無線通信システムは、一次局(BS)100と、複数の二次局(MS)110を具える。BS100は、マイクロコントローラ(μC)102と、アンテナ手段106に接続されたトランシーバ手段(Tx/Rx)104と、送信電力レベルを変更する電力制御手段(PC)107と、PSTNや他の適当なネットワークに接続するための接続手段108とを具える。各MS110は、マイクロコントローラ(μC)112と、アンテナ手段116に接続されたトランシーバ手段(Tx/Rx)114と、送信電力レベルを変更する電力制御手段(PC)118とを具える。BS100からMS110への通信はダウンリンクチャネル122で行なわれ、MSからBSへの通信はアップリンクチャネル124で行なわれる。
Claims (11)
- 一次局から二次局へデータパケットを送信する通信チャネルを有する無線通信システムであって、
前記二次局は、
データパケットを受信する受信手段と、
前記データパケットが送信されたダウンリンクチャネルのチャネル品質を測定し、該チャネル品質の情報を前記一次局へ送信する手段と、
データパケットが当二次局へ送信されたことを示す指示の検出時にタイマをリセットする手段と、
前記タイマが動作している間、前記一次局への前記チャネル品質の情報の送信に関するパラメータを変更する手段とを具えることを特徴とする無線通信システム。 - 一次局から二次局へデータパケットを送信する通信チャネルを有する無線通信システムであって、
前記一次局は、
データパケットを前記二次局へ送信する手段と、
受信されたデータパケットの状態を示す肯定的受信確認(ACK)および否定的受信確認(NACK)を含む信号を、ACK/NACKフィールドを介して前記二次局から受信する手段と、
前記二次局によるデータパケットの受信の肯定的受信確認の受信時にタイマをリセットする手段と、
前記肯定的受信確認か前記否定的受信確認かを判定するしきい値を設定する手段であって、前記しきい値を、前記タイマが動作している間は前記タイマが終了した後に使用する値と比較して異なる値に設定する手段とを具えることを特徴とする無線通信システム。 - 前記一次局が、前記二次局に対し、前記データパケットの送信を示す前記指示を、該データパケットの送信に用いるチャネルとは別のダウンリンクチャネルで送信することを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の無線通信システム。
- 一次局から二次局へデータパケットを送信する通信チャネルを有する無線通信システム用の一次局であって、
データパケットを前記二次局へ送信する手段と、
受信されたデータパケットの状態を示す肯定的受信確認(ACK)および否定的受信確認(NACK)を含む信号を、ACK/NACKフィールドを介して前記二次局から受信する手段と、
前記二次局によるデータパケットの受信の肯定的受信確認の受信時にタイマをリセットする手段と、
前記肯定的受信確認か前記否定的受信確認かを判定するしきい値を設定する手段であって、前記しきい値を、前記タイマが動作している間は前記タイマが終了した後に使用する値と比較して異なる値に設定する手段とを具えることを特徴とする一次局。 - 前記タイマの終了後に第1パケットが前記二次局へ送信されたら、前記しきい値を前記否定的受信確認より前記肯定的受信確認に近づける手段を具えることを特徴とする請求項4記載の一次局。
- 一次局から二次局へデータパケットを送信する通信チャネルを有する無線通信システム用の二次局であって、
前記一次局からのデータパケットを受信する受信手段と、
前記データパケットが送信されたダウンリンクチャネルのチャネル品質を測定し、該チャネル品質の情報を前記一次局へ送信する手段と、
データパケットが当二次局へ送信されたことを示す指示の検出時にタイマをリセットする手段と、
前記タイマが動作している間、前記一次局への前記チャネル品質の情報の送信に関するパラメータを変更する手段とを具えることを特徴とする二次局。 - 前記パラメータは、前記チャネル品質の情報を前記一次局へ送信する周波数、前記一次局へ送信する前記チャネル品質の情報のフォーマット、及び前記チャネル品質の情報を前記一次局へ送信する電力のうちの1つ以上であることを特徴とする請求項6記載の二次局。
- 前記タイマが終了するまでの間のみ、データパケットを送信できたであろうタイムスロットにおいてデータパケットが正しく受信されない場合に毎回、否定的受信確認の送信を行うことを特徴とする請求項6または7記載の二次局。
- 複数の一次局とほぼ同時に通信する手段と、前記一次局の各々からの電力制御コマンドを受信する手段と、前記一次局の任意の1つからのデータパケットを受信する手段とを具える請求項6から8いずれか1項記載の二次局において、
アップリンク送信の電力を、前記タイマが動作している間は前記パケットを送信する一次局から受信した電力制御コマンドに依存して設定し、前記タイマが終了したときはすべての一次局から受信した電力制御コマンドに依存して設定する手段を具えることを特徴とする二次局。 - 一次局から二次局へデータパケットを送信する通信チャネルを有する無線通信システムであって、前記二次局はデータパケットを受信し、前記データパケットが送信されたダウンリンクチャネルのチャネル品質を測定し、該チャネル品質の情報を前記一次局へ送信する無線通信システムを動作させる方法において、
前記二次局は、データパケットが当二次局へ送信されたことを示す指示の検出時にタイマをリセットし、該タイマが動作している間、前記一次局への前記チャネル品質の情報の送信に関するパラメータを変更することを特徴とする無線通信システム動作方法。 - 一次局から二次局へデータパケットを送信する通信チャネルを有する無線通信システムであって、前記一次局はデータパケットを前記二次局へ送信し、受信されたデータパケットの状態を示す肯定的受信確認(ACK)および否定的受信確認(NACK)を含む信号を、ACK/NACKフィールドを介して前記二次局から受信し、前記肯定的受信確認か前記否定的受信確認かを、しきい値を基準に判定する、無線通信システムを動作させる方法において、
前記一次局は、前記二次局によるデータパケットの受信の肯定的受信確認の受信時にタイマをリセットし、前記しきい値を、前記タイマが動作している間は前記タイマが終了した後に使用する値と比較して異なる値に設定することを特徴とする無線通信システム動作方法。
