BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an endless rubber crawler used by being mounted on a high-speed snow vehicle such as an RV vehicle or a construction vehicle.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, there are an increasing number of cases in which a normal driving wheel in a leisure RV vehicle is removed and an endless track driving device composed of a plurality of sprockets and wheels is mounted and used as a snow vehicle or the like. A crawler composed of an endless rubber belt or the like is attached to such an endless track drive device. However, as the crawler is attached to an RV vehicle, it is urgently necessary to cope with an increase in traveling speed. Yes. Further, not only ordinary snow vehicles, but also construction vehicles and the like that have come to be equipped with rubber crawlers that reduce noise, vibration, etc., are required to cope with higher speeds of crawlers.
Generally, a crawler mounted on such an endless track drive device is vulcanized and molded by a method as shown in FIGS.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in such a conventional manufacturing method, preliminary molding of the crawler is performed in advance in a separate process before vulcanization, and then the vulcanization process is performed. In addition to being large, the manufacturing process took a lot of time.
In particular, in the vulcanizing method shown in FIG. 10, the mold and the heating plate are lengthened to require a large installation space, and further, a joining vulcanization process of only the end portion is further required.
Further, in the vulcanization method shown in FIG. 11, although the mold and the heating plate are miniaturized, it is necessary to repeat vulcanization several times to about 10 times for each predetermined length, and further increase the vulcanization time. In addition, in the vulcanization process, a joint vulcanization process of only the end portion as described above was further required.
Moreover, in these production methods by vulcanization, the belt-like crawler including the reinforcing cords must be vulcanized at both ends, and the reinforcing cords are overlapped and thickened at the joints, so that the crawler In addition to making it impossible to provide uniform characteristics on the circumference, it is troublesome to connect the ends of the reinforcement cords that are embedded in parallel in the length direction, and the reinforcement strength is continuous. There was also a possibility that the sex was cut off. Moreover, it was almost impossible to embed spiral reinforcement cords that allowed uniform reinforcement strength on the circumference.
For this reason, the conventional vulcanization manufacturing method cannot cope with the high speed rotation of the crawler accompanying the increase in the speed of the vehicle.
[0006]
Therefore, in the present invention, various problems in the conventional rubber crawler manufacturing method can be solved, and an endless reinforcing cord can be adopted, but a relatively small mold can be adopted, the number of processes is small, and the circumference is reduced. It is an object of the present invention to provide a rubber crawler manufacturing method capable of obtaining a homogeneous strength characteristic.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
For this reason, the present invention provides a rubber crawler manufacturing method in which rubber attached to the inner peripheral side and the grounding side of an endless ring-shaped reinforcing cord is pressurized and heated by a mold and vulcanized. Between the middle mold arranged on the inner circumference side and the upper mold and the lower mold arranged on the upper and lower sides of the outer circumference side of the reinforcement cord at the same time, the inner circumference side rubber and the ground side rubber for approximately half the circumference of the reinforcement cord The first vulcanization step for vulcanization molding and the second vulcanization step for vulcanization molding of the remaining substantially half circumference length in the same manner following this step. The drive protrusion rubber piece is set in advance in each drive protrusion formation groove formed in the middle mold by prepress, and at least one inner peripheral rubber prepress to the middle mold is divided into the drive protrusion rubber piece and the inner peripheral rubber piece. The middle die is turned upside down by rotating 180 ° while being pressed by the plate-like body through the reinforcing cord, and kept in the pre-pressed state by the one inner peripheral rubber plate, and then the front and rear pressure of the middle die Pre-press the other inner rubber on the middle mold by stretching the member and tensioning the reinforcement cordIt is characterized by that.
Further, the present invention is characterized in that a vulcanization circumference in the first vulcanization step is made larger than a vulcanization circumference in the second vulcanization step.
Further, the present invention is characterized in that lug rubber pieces are set in advance in each lug forming groove formed in the upper and lower molds by prepress.
Further, the present invention provides a vulcanization step of at least a rubber portion that becomes a vulcanized rubber before joint vulcanization of a connecting portion between the rubber portion in the first vulcanization step and the rubber portion in the second vulcanization step. After the polymerization, a release sheet having unevenness facing the connecting portion is polymerized, and after the vulcanization, the release sheet is peeled to form unevenness in the connecting portion. The connecting portion with the rubber portion in the secondary vulcanization step is bonded and vulcanized.
Further, the present invention is characterized in that an adhesive sheet made of adhesive rubber or the like is interposed between the connecting portions between the rubber portion in the first vulcanization step and the rubber portion in the second vulcanization step during the joint vulcanization. It is what.
Further, the present invention is characterized in that the joint vulcanization is performed as a joint between rubber parts after vulcanization after the second vulcanization step.
Further, the present invention is characterized in that the sulfur content of the adhesive sheet is made larger than the sulfur content of the rubber portion in the first vulcanization step and the rubber portion in the second vulcanization step. .
In the present invention, the difference between the sulfur content of the adhesive sheet and the sulfur content of the rubber portion in the first vulcanization step and the rubber portion in the second vulcanization step is in the range of 1 to 10 PHR. Is a feature for solving problems.

In the example of FIG. 1, the vulcanization circumference in the first vulcanization step and the vulcanization circumference in the second vulcanization step are substantially equal, but the vulcanization in the first vulcanization step is shown. Even when the circumference is increased, the same upper, middle, and lower can be obtained by appropriately controlling the temperature of the overlapping set of rubber in the mold due to the difference in the vulcanization circumference during the secondary vulcanization process. Even if the mold is used, it is possible to easily eliminate the adverse effects caused by the double vulcanization of the connecting portion.
By configuring in this way, it becomes possible to easily carry out the processing of the overlapping rubber joints set in the primary vulcanization process and the secondary vulcanization process in the secondary vulcanization process. The vulcanization part of the first vulcanization process that vulcanizes the rubber part first can be taken longer, which affects the accuracy of vulcanization and bonding of the rubber part to the surface, and a more stable and homogeneous rubber crawler is obtained. It is done.
The rubber joint formed by the primary vulcanization process and the secondary vulcanization process is preferably configured to be joined by male and female wedge engagement.

[0019]
Although the embodiment of the present invention has been described in detail above, the shape of the upper mold, the lower mold, and the middle mold, that is, the shape of the rubber crawler (if the core metal is embedded, the drive in the middle mold is within the scope of the present invention. The projection forming grooves are arranged in multiple rows and vulcanized by attaching the projections of each cored bar to the grooves, etc., the type of reinforcement cord (endless by spiral winding, having a connection portion by parallel cord, bias cord And the like, rubberized ones etc.), shape, shape of the pressure-expanding member in the middle mold and its expansion / contraction form, medium movement form (or the middle mold side is immovable, and the upper and lower mold sides can be configured to be movable. ), Preset shape of inner peripheral side rubber and ground side rubber, connection shape of connecting part between rubber part in first vulcanization process and rubber part in second vulcanization process, and joint vulcanization form For it can be appropriately selected.
[0020]
【The invention's effect】
As described above in detail, according to the present invention, a rubber crawler manufacturing method in which rubber attached to the inner peripheral side and the grounding side of an endless ring-shaped reinforcing cord is vulcanized by pressurizing and heating with a mold. In the inner end of the endless ring-shaped reinforcing cord, between the upper die and the lower die arranged respectively on the upper and lower sides of the outer peripheral side of the reinforcing cord, the inner half of the reinforcing cord Consists of a primary vulcanization step in which the peripheral side rubber and the ground side rubber are vulcanized and molded at the same time, and a secondary vulcanization step in which the remaining substantially half circumference is vulcanized in the same manner. IsThe drive protrusion rubber piece is set in advance in each drive protrusion formation groove formed in the middle mold by prepress, and at least one inner peripheral rubber prepress to the middle mold is divided into the drive protrusion rubber piece and the inner peripheral rubber piece. The middle die is turned upside down by rotating 180 ° while being pressed by the plate-like body through the reinforcing cord, and kept in the pre-pressed state by the one inner peripheral rubber plate, and then the front and rear pressure of the middle die Pre-press the other inner rubber on the middle mold by stretching the member and tensioning the reinforcement cordTherefore, the rubber crawler can be vulcanized and molded at the same time with a relatively small top and bottom and middle mold, and vulcanization can be completed by two vulcanization moldings. In addition to realizing cost reductions, the number of processes is small, and spiral reinforcement cords can be embedded, and there are few connections by vulcanization joining, making it possible to provide uniform strength characteristics on the circumference for high speed running. A compatible rubber crawler can be provided. In addition, even in a large part of the rubber filling volume, the unvulcanized rubber pieces can be sufficiently filled in the mold, so there is no risk of nest formation and high quality rubber by stable vulcanization A crawler is obtained. Furthermore, a large number of drive projection rubber pieces can be pre-pressed by pressing the inner peripheral rubber pieces uniformly through a reinforcing cord at a time, and an efficient and stable pre-press operation can be performed. Furthermore, one inner peripheral rubber can be pre-pressed with high efficiency and stability by means of a plate-like body, and the other inner peripheral rubber can be easily pre-pressed by tension of the reinforcing cord due to the extension of the pressure spreading member in the middle mold. The prepress work process can be simplified.
[0021]
Further, when the vulcanization peripheral length in the first vulcanization step is set to be larger than the vulcanization peripheral length in the second vulcanization step, the first vulcanization step and the second vulcanization step are performed. In addition to making it possible to easily process rubber joints that have been set in the secondary vulcanization process, the rubber part is vulcanized first, which affects the vulcanization and joining accuracy of the rubber part to the reinforcing cord. Thus, the vulcanized portion in the first vulcanizing step can be taken for a long time, and a more stable and homogeneous rubber crawler can be obtained.
[0022]
In addition, before the joint vulcanization of the connecting portion between the rubber portion in the first vulcanization step and the rubber portion in the second vulcanization step, at least before the vulcanization step of the rubber portion on the side that becomes the vulcanized rubber The release sheet having irregularities facing the connecting portion is polymerized, and after the vulcanization, the release sheet is peeled to form irregularities on the connecting portion, and then the rubber portion and the secondary additive in the first vulcanization step are formed. When joining and vulcanizing the connection part with the rubber part in the vulcanization process, it is easy to make the connection part of the rubber part easy by using a sheet-like material with unevenness on the surface like Ox canvas as a release sheet. Since it can be applied to improve the adhesion performance, it is possible to omit troublesome processes such as buffing the surface of the adhesion portion as in the prior art.
Further, when an adhesive sheet made of adhesive rubber or the like is interposed between the connecting portions of the rubber portion in the first vulcanization step and the rubber portion in the second vulcanization step at the time of the joining vulcanization, the adhesive rubber or the like When the adhesive sheet made of is vulcanized, the adhesive rubber component is sufficiently spread over the large adhesive area formed by the unevenness on the connection surface, and a large adhesive force is secured.
[0023]
Furthermore, when the joint vulcanization is performed as a joint between the rubber parts after vulcanization after the second vulcanization step, even if the joint surfaces are joined after the vulcanization, Sufficient adhesive strength can be ensured by the presence of irregularities.
If the sulfur content of the adhesive sheet is greater than the sulfur content of the rubber part in the primary vulcanization step and the rubber part in the secondary vulcanization step, the adhesive interface at the time of vulcanization Hardness reduction (decrease in adhesive strength) due to sulfur transfer from the vulcanization side to the vulcanization side can be effectively prevented.
Furthermore, the difference between the sulfur content of the adhesive sheet and the sulfur content of the rubber part in the primary vulcanization step and the rubber part in the secondary vulcanization step is in the range of 1 to 10 PHR, and the adhesive sheet is larger. In some cases, the adhesive strength decreases due to a decrease in elastic modulus and adhesive strength at the connection due to deficiency due to sulfur migration, or a decrease in the physical properties of the rubber of the adhesive sheet due to excessive sulfur content. Is effectively prevented.
Thus, according to the present invention, there is provided a rubber crawler manufacturing method capable of adopting an endless reinforcing cord, but employing a relatively small mold, reducing the number of steps, and obtaining uniform strength characteristics on the circumference. Provided.
