Description
Claims (2)
- 車両の幅方向に延設されていて、両端部に左右一対のトレーリングアームをそれぞれ接続したトーションビームを備えたトーションビーム式サスペンション装置において、
前記トーションビームを円筒状のパイプで構成し、前記パイプの軸線方向中間部を押し潰して、同中間部を、隙間を介して互いに対向させた外側壁および内側壁からなる二重壁構造であって、前記外側壁および前記内側壁の横断面が略V字状または略U字状になるように形成し、かつ
前記外側壁と前記内側壁とのうちのいずれか一方のみの側壁に、前記トーションビームの軸線方向に所定間隔をおいて、他方の側壁に向けて突出した複数の突起を設け、前記外側壁と前記内側壁とを前記複数の突起にて当接させるようにしたことを特徴とするトーションビーム式サスペンション装置。 - 前記複数の突起は、前記外側壁を塑性変形させて略円錐状に形成され、かつ前記トーションビームの軸線方向に沿って同一直線上に配置された請求項1に記載したトーションビーム式サスペンション装置。
