Claims (13)
- 車両に取付けるためのペダル及びセンサーアッセンブリーであって、前記ペダルは使用者によって押し下げられる操作が可能であり、
a)前記ペダル及びセンサーアッセンブリーは、第1端及び第2端を有する長く延びたペダルアームを備え、前記第1端は使用者により押し下げられる操作が可能であり、前記ペダルアームは軸線を中心にして回転可能であり、
b)前記ペダル及びセンサーアッセンブリーは、また、変化する磁界を発生するための磁界発生器を備え、前記磁界発生器は、前記第2端に連結されており、
c)前記ペダル及びセンサーアッセンブリーは、さらに、ハウジングを備え、前記ハウジングは、車両に取付けられ、内部に包含される前記第2端及び前記磁界発生器を有し、前記第1端は前記ハウジングから出ており、
d)前記ペダル及びセンサーアッセンブリーは、さらに、ホール効果デバイスを備え、前記ホール効果デバイスは、前記磁界発生器に隣接して配置され、前記変化する磁界を検出可能であり、前記ペダルアームが回転すると、前記ホール効果デバイスは、前記ペダルアームの位置を示す前記変化する磁界の強さに比例した電気信号を発生することができ、
e)前記第2端は、摩擦プレートを有し、前記摩擦プレートは、前記ハウジングの壁と係合するように取付けられ、使用者に抵抗力あるフィードバックを提供することができることを特徴とするペダル及びセンサーアッセンブリー。 - 請求項1に記載のペダル及びセンサーアッセンブリーにおいて、
前記磁界発生器は、テーパー形状の双極磁石であることを特徴とするペダル及びセンサーアッセンブリー。 - 請求項2に記載のペダル及びセンサーアッセンブリーにおいて、
前記磁界発生器は、前記第2端の突出部に取付けられていることを特徴とするペダル及びセンサーアッセンブリー。 - 請求項3に記載のペダル及びセンサーアッセンブリーにおいて、
前記突出部は、磁界発生器を保持するための凹部を有していることを特徴とするペダル及びセンサーアッセンブリー。 - 請求項1に記載のペダル及びセンサーアッセンブリーにおいて、
前記第2端は、前記第2端の各々の側面に一対のフランジを有し、前記フランジは各々当該フランジに取付けられたコイルバネを有していることを特徴とするペダル及びセンサーアッセンブリー。 - ペダル位置センサーであって、
a)前記ペダル位置センサーは、軸線を中心として回転可能なペダルアームと、
b)磁界発生器とを備え、前記磁界発生器は、前記ペダルアームの1端に取付けられ、変化する磁界を発生し、
c)前記ペダル位置センサーは、また、ホール効果デバイスを備え、前記ホール効果デバイスは、前記磁界発生器に隣接して固定的に取付けられ、前記変化する磁界を感知することができ、前記ペダルアームが回転するに従って変化する電気出力を提供し、
d)前記ペダル位置センサーは、さらに、ハウジングを備え、前記ハウジングは、車両に取付け可能であり、前記磁界発生器と前記ホール効果デバイスを包含しており、
e)前記ペダル位置センサーは、さらに、前記軸線に沿って前記ペダルの端を貫通して延びているロッドを備え、
f)前記ペダル位置センサーはさらにフットレストを備え、前記フットレストは、前記ペダルアームの他の端に取付けられ、前記軸線を中心とした回転を生じさせるような圧力を供給することができ、
g)前記ペダル位置センサーは、さらに、双極磁石を備え、前記双極磁石は、前記ロッドの周りに同心に配置され、前記変化する磁界を提供することができる
ことを特徴とするペダル位置センサー。 - 請求項6に記載のペダル位置センサーにおいて、
前記ペダル位置センサーは、さらに、コネクターを備え、前記コネクターは、前記ハウジングと一体的に形成されており、前記ホール効果デバイスからの電気出力を提供するための、外部の電気的相互連結を提供することを特徴とするペダル位置センサー。 - 車両に取付けるためのペダル及びセンサーアッセンブリーであって、前記ペダルは使用者によって押し下げられる操作が可能であり、
a)前記ペダル及びセンサーアッセンブリーは、第1端と第2端を有した長く延びたペダルアームを備え、前記第1端は使用者により押し下げられる操作可能であり、前記ペダルアームは軸線を中心として回転可能であり、
b)前記ペダル及びセンサーアッセンブリーは、また、前記第1端に連結されたフットレストを備え、
c)前記第2端は磁石突出部を有し、磁界発生器が前記磁石突出部に取付けられており、前記磁界発生器は、ペダルが押し下げられているとき前記軸線を中心として回転し、変化する磁界を発生し、
d)前記ペダル及びセンサーアッセンブリーは、さらに、ハウジングを備え、前記ハウジングは、車両に取付けられ、当該ハウジングの内部に包含する前記第2端及び前記磁界発生器を有しており、前記第1端は前記ハウジングから延びており、
e)前記ペダル及びセンサーアッセンブリーは、さらに、ホール効果デバイスを備え、前記ホール効果デバイスは、前記ハウジングに固定され、前記磁界発生器に隣接し、前記変化する磁界を検出する操作が可能であり、前記ペダルアームが回転するとき、前記ホール効果デバイスは、前記変化する磁界の強さと比例し前記ペダルアームの位置を示す電気信号を発生し、
f)前記第2端は、摩擦プレートを有し、前記摩擦プレートは、前記ハウジングの壁に係合するように取付けられ、使用者に抵抗力あるフィードバックを提供することができることを特徴とするペダル及びセンサーアッセンブリー。 - 請求項8に記載のペダル及びセンサーアッセンブリーにおいて、
前記磁界発生器は、エアーギャップを有するテーパー形状の双極磁石であることを特徴とするペダル及びセンサーアッセンブリー。 - 請求項9に記載のペダル及びセンサーアッセンブリーにおいて、
前記ホール効果デバイスは、前記エアーギャップに配置されていることを特徴とするペダル及びセンサーアッセンブリー。 - 請求項10に記載のペダル及びセンサーアッセンブリーにおいて、
前記突出部は、前記磁界発生器を保持するための縁及び凹部を有することを特徴とするペダル及びセンサーアッセンブリー。 - 請求項8に記載のペダル及びセンサーアッセンブリーにおいて、
前記第2端は、当該第2端の各々の側面に一対のフランジを有し、前記フランジは、それぞれ、当該フランジに取付けられているコイルバネを有することを特徴とするペダル及びセンサーアッセンブリー。 - 請求項9に記載のペダル及びセンサーアッセンブリーにおいて、
前記磁界発生器は、前記ペダルアームに一体的に成形されていることを特徴とするペダル及びセンサーアッセンブリー。
