Description
セラミック粉体と、ブチラール系樹脂を主成分とするバインダ樹脂と、溶剤と、分散剤とを有するグリーンシート用塗料であって、
前記溶剤が、溶解性パラメータであるSP値が10以上の第1溶媒と、前記SP値が8以上10未満の第2溶媒とを有し、
前記第2溶媒が、前記溶剤の全質量100質量%に対して、20〜60質量%含まれ、
前記分散剤のSP値が8〜9であり、
前記分散剤が、ポリエチレングリコール系ノニオン性分散剤であり、
前記分散剤の親水性・親油性バランス(HLB)値が5〜6であることを特徴とする。
前記ポリブチラール樹脂の重合度が1000以上1700以下であり、樹脂のブチラール化度が64%より大きく78%より小さく、残留アセチル基量が6%未満である。
前記グリーンシート用塗料を準備する工程と、
前記グリーンシート用塗料を用いてセラミックグリーンシートを成形する工程と、
を有する。
前記グリーンシート用塗料を準備する工程と、
前記グリーンシート用塗料を用いてセラミックグリーンシートを成形する工程と、
前記グリーンシートを乾燥させる工程と、
乾燥後のグリーンシートを、内部電極層を介して積層し、グリーンチップを得る工程と、
前記グリーンチップを焼成する工程と、を有する。
図2は図1に示す積層セラミックコンデンサの製造過程を示す要部断面図である。
保持温度:200〜400℃、
保持時間:0.5〜20時間、
雰囲気 :加湿したN2 とH2 との混合ガス。
保持温度:1100〜1300℃、
保持時間:0.5〜8時間、
冷却速度:50〜500℃/時間、
雰囲気ガス:加湿したN2 とH2 との混合ガス等。
冷却速度:50〜500℃/時間、
雰囲気用ガス:加湿したN2 ガス等。
グリーンシート用塗料の作製
セラミック粉体の出発原料としてBaTiO3 粉体(BT−02/堺化学工業(株))を用いた。このBaTiO3 粉体100質量部に対して、(Ba0.6Ca0.4)SiO3 :1.48質量部、Y2 O3 :1.01質量部、MgCO3 :0.72質量%、Cr2 O3 :0.13質量%、およびV2 O5 :0.045質量%になるようにセラミック粉体副成分添加物を用意した。
上記のようにして得られた塗料をワイヤーバーコーターによって、支持フィルムとしてのPETフィルム上に塗布し、乾燥させることで厚さ1μmのグリーンシートを作製した。塗布速度は50m/min、乾燥条件は、乾燥炉内の温度が60℃〜70℃、乾燥時間が2分であった。
その後、グリーンシートの光沢度を測定した。光沢度は、グリーンシートにおける表面の光沢度を、日本電色工業株式会社製VGS−1Dを用い、JIS Z−8741(1983)方法3に準拠して測定した。光沢度の%が大きいほど、表面の平滑性に優れている。結果を表2に示す。光沢度の測定では、70%以上を良好(○)と判断し、それ以外を不良(×)と判断した。
メチルエチルケトンの代わりにメチルイソブチルケトンを用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして、グリーンシートを作製し、同様な評価を行った。結果を表2に示す。
メチルエチルケトンの代わりに酢酸エチルを用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして、グリーンシートを作製し、同様な評価を行った。結果を表2に示す。
メチルエチルケトンの代わりに酢酸n−ブチルを用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして、グリーンシートを作製し、同様な評価を行った。結果を表2に示す。
メチルエチルケトンの代わりにトルエンを用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして、グリーンシートを作製し、同様な評価を行った。結果を表2に示す。
メチルエチルケトンの代わりにキシレンを用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして、グリーンシートを作製し、同様な評価を行った。結果を表2に示す。なお、実施例6において、溶剤中の第1溶媒に対する第2溶媒の質量比は、表3に示すように、0.59であった。
メチルエチルケトンの代わりにエタノールを用い、第2溶媒の質量割合を、溶剤全体を100質量%に対して、11質量%とした以外は、実施例1と同様にして、グリーンシートを作製し、同様な評価を行った。結果を表2に示す。
メチルエチルケトンの代わりに1−プロパノールを用い、第2溶媒の質量割合を、溶剤全体を100質量%に対して、11質量%とした以外は、実施例1と同様にして、グリーンシートを作製し、同様な評価を行った。結果を表2に示す。
メチルエチルケトンの代わりにn−へプタンを用い、第2溶媒の質量割合を、溶剤全体を100質量%に対して、11質量%とした以外は、実施例1と同様にして、グリーンシートを作製し、同様な評価を行った。結果を表2に示す。
第2溶媒を、溶剤の全質量100質量%に対して、58質量%含ませ、溶剤中の第1溶媒に対する第2溶媒の質量比を1.46とした以外は、実施例6と同様にして、グリーンシートを作製し、同様な評価を行った。結果を表3に示す。
第2溶媒を、溶剤の全質量100質量%に対して、15質量%含ませ、溶剤中の第1溶媒に対する第2溶媒の質量比を0.18とした以外は、実施例6と同様にして、グリーンシートを作製し、同様な評価を行った。結果を表3に示す。
第2溶媒を、溶剤の全質量100質量%に対して、66質量%含ませ、溶剤中の第1溶媒に対する第2溶媒の質量比を2.14とした以外は、実施例6と同様にして、グリーンシートを作製し、同様な評価を行った。結果を表3に示す。
表2および3に示すように、第2溶媒が、溶剤の全質量100質量%に対して、20〜60質量%、好ましくは25〜60質量%含まれ、溶剤中の第1溶媒に対する第2溶媒の質量比が、0.2〜2.0、好ましくは0.5〜1.5の場合に、光沢度が向上し、グリーンシート表面の平滑性が向上することが確認できた。

Claims (12)
- セラミック粉体と、ブチラール系樹脂を主成分とするバインダ樹脂と、溶剤と、分散剤とを有するグリーンシート用塗料であって、
前記溶剤が、溶解性パラメータであるSP値が10以上の第1溶媒と、前記SP値が8以上10未満の第2溶媒とを有し、
前記第2溶媒が、前記溶剤の全質量100質量%に対して、20〜60質量%含まれ、
前記分散剤のSP値が8〜9であり、
前記分散剤が、ポリエチレングリコール系ノニオン性分散剤であり、
前記分散剤の親水性・親油性バランス(HLB)値が5〜6であることを特徴とするグリーンシート用塗料。 - 前記溶剤中の第1溶媒に対する第2溶媒の質量比が、0.2〜2.0である請求項1に記載のグリーンシート用塗料。
- 前記第1溶媒がアルコール類であり、前記第2溶媒が、ケトン類、エステル類、芳香族類の中から選ばれる少なくとも1つを含む請求項1または2に記載のグリーンシート用塗料。
- 前記第1溶媒がメタノール、エタノール、プロパノール、ブタノールの中から選ばれる少なくとも1つであり、前記第2溶媒が、メチルエチルケトン、メチルイソブチルケトン、酢酸エチル、酢酸ブチル、トルエン、キシレンの中から選ばれる少なくとも1つを含む請求項3に記載のグリーンシート用塗料。
- 前記第2溶媒として、キシレンを必ず含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のグリーンシート用塗料。
- 前記ブチラール系樹脂がポリブチラール樹脂であって、
前記ポリブチラール樹脂の重合度が1000以上1700以下であり、樹脂のブチラール化度が64%より大きく78%より小さく、残留アセチル基量が6%未満であることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のグリーンシート用塗料。 - 前記バインダ樹脂が前記セラミックス粉体100質量部に対して5質量部以上6.5質量部以下で含まれる請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のグリーンシート用塗料。
- 前記セラミック粉体の粒径が0.01〜0.5μmである請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載のグリーンシート用塗料。
- 前記グリーンシート用塗料中の不揮発成分が10〜48質量%である請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載のグリーンシート用塗料。
- 請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載のグリーンシート用塗料を準備する工程と、
前記グリーンシート用塗料を用いてセラミックグリーンシートを成形する工程と、
を有するセラミックグリーンシートの製造方法。 - 請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載のグリーンシート用塗料を準備する工程と、
前記グリーンシート用塗料を用いてセラミックグリーンシートを成形する工程と、
前記グリーンシートを乾燥させる工程と、
乾燥後のグリーンシートを、内部電極層を介して積層し、グリーンチップを得る工程と、
前記グリーンチップを焼成する工程と、
を有するセラミック電子部品の製造方法。 - 請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載のグリーンシート用塗料を用いて製造されるグリーンシート。
