Description

【0001】

[Technical field to which the invention belongs]
The present invention relates to a door weatherstrip that is mounted around a door of an automobile, and more particularly to a molded part that is mounted to a corner portion of a door, for example, a corner portion of portions A, B, C, and D shown in FIG.
[0002]
[Prior art]
FIG. 2 shows an example of a weather strip attached around a door of an automobile. A base 3 attached to the outer peripheral end surface 1a of the door frame 1 by a double-sided adhesive tape 2 and a door opening of a vehicle body when the door is closed. A hollow seal portion 5 that presses against the peripheral edge 4 of the vehicle body, a lip 7 that protrudes outward from the side surface on the outside of the vehicle and elastically contacts the inner surface of the outer peripheral edge 1b of the door frame 1, and the vehicle body when the door is closed. The sub lip 8 is in pressure contact with the edge of the door opening.
[0003]
In such a weather strip, even if the sub lip 8 is pushed into the vehicle interior side indicated by the arrow direction in FIG. 2 due to water pressure at the time of car washing, water may enter from between the lip 7 and the door frame outer peripheral edge 1b. The double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape 2 can prevent water leaking to the vehicle interior side. However, the double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape 2 is attached to the base 3 with the double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape 2 attached, and the release paper is peeled off. Must be pressed against the door frame outer peripheral edge 1a, and it is troublesome to attach the double-sided adhesive tape 2 to the base 3 so as not to meander, and the adhesive tape is fastened with a clip. Compared to, there is a dislike that the cost is high.
[0004]
Therefore, in the weather strip attached around the door, in the vertical side portion 9a shown in FIG. 3, even if water may invade between the lip 7 and the outer peripheral edge 1b of the frame, the intruded water is the outer peripheral end surface. As shown in FIG. 4, the vertical side portion 9 a is clipped K (see FIG. 4) and the weather strip is positioned, and then the upper side portion 9 c and Only the corner portion 9b extending from the upper side portion 9c to the vertical side portion 9a is attached with the double-sided adhesive tape 2.
[0005]
According to this method, it is possible to reduce the time and effort of the attachment work using the adhesive tape, and the cost can be reduced, but there are the following problems. That is, as shown in FIG. 4, at the end E of the double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape 2, a triangular gap 11 is formed between the base portion 3 and the door frame outer peripheral end surface 1 a, so that the intruded water flows down along the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape 2. 3 may enter the vehicle interior side indicated by the arrow in FIG. 3 from the triangular gap 11 at the end E of the adhesive tape.
[0006]
In order to solve this problem, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2000-190736 discloses that a seal lip 12 is further provided on the inner side of the lip 7 at the mold forming portion to elastically contact the door frame outer peripheral edge 1b as shown in FIG. The door that has been sealed twice so that water that has entered from between the lip 7 and the outer peripheral edge 1b of the door frame flows on the seal lip 12 and is prevented from entering the vehicle interior side through the gap 11 at the end of the adhesive tape. A weatherstrip has been proposed.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In manufacturing the door frame, it is inevitable that the shape of the outer peripheral end surface of the door frame and the position of the hole for fixing the clip will vary. Therefore, a clip attached to the base of the weather strip is formed on the outer peripheral end surface of the door frame. When the door frame is pushed into the hole and fixed and temporarily fixed, a gap 13 may be formed between the base portion 3 and the door frame outer peripheral end surface 1a as shown in FIG. The pressure-sensitive adhesive tape adhered to the base portion 3 cannot be partially pressed against the door frame outer peripheral end face 1a, so that the adhesion becomes insufficient and water leakage may occur.
[0008]
Further, in the weather strip disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2000-190736, the molded part has a double seal structure of lip 7 and seal lip 12 as shown in FIG. Water that has entered from between the frame outer peripheral edges 1b is blocked by the seal lip 12. However, since there is no seal lip 12 as shown in FIG. Water that has entered the space is stopped by the double-sided adhesive tape 2 and then flows to the corner side. The door frame corner, which is a connecting portion of the seal lip 12 shown in FIG. 5, the door frame outer peripheral edge 1b, and the door frame outer peripheral end surface 1a. It flows down through the gap 10 formed by the portion 1c, and reaches the end of the adhesive tape 2 as in the case shown in FIG. There is a risk of getting into the side.
[0009]
As shown in FIG. 5, a protrusion 3a covering the adhesive tape 2 is formed on the base 3 as shown in FIG. 5, but this protrusion 3a hits the outer peripheral end surface of the door frame during bonding. Since the thickness of the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape 2 is lower than the thickness of the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape 2 so that it is not hindered, it is inevitable that the triangular gap described above is formed at the end of the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape 2, and water enters. Can not prevent.
[0010]
Accordingly, the first object of the present invention is to securely bond the shape of the outer peripheral end surface of the door frame and the position of the clip pressing hole to the outer peripheral end surface of the corner of the corner with double-sided adhesive tape even if the position of the clip pressing hole varies due to manufacturing errors. The second purpose is to clip the vertical side and attach the adhesive from the upper side to the corner with a double-sided adhesive tape. In a door weather strip for automobiles, an object is to provide a molded part of a door weather strip that prevents water from entering a vehicle interior through a triangular gap formed at the end of an adhesive tape.
[0011]
A third object is to provide a molded part of an automotive door weatherstrip that can achieve the first and second objects.
[0012]
[Means for solving problems]
The invention according to claim 1 relates to a molded part of an automotive door weatherstrip that achieves the first object. As shown in FIGS. 15 and 16, double-sided adhesive tape 25 is provided on the outer peripheral end face 1a of the door frame 1. In the automobile door weather strip having a base portion 28 attached by the above-described structure and a hollow seal portion 22 that presses against the door opening peripheral edge 4 of the vehicle body when the door is closed, the corner portion 9b of the door frame 1 is attached to the base portion 28. A base lip 27 elastically contacting the outer peripheral end surface 1a is integrally formed, and a double-sided adhesive tape 25 is adhered to the base lip 27 and adhered to the outer peripheral end surface 1a of the corner portion 9b.
[0013]
According to the present invention, when a gap 13 is formed between the base portion 28 and the door frame outer peripheral end face 1a as shown in FIG. 6 due to manufacturing errors in the shape of the outer peripheral end face of the door frame and the position of the clip push-in hole, When 27 expands and conversely there is no gap 13 or becomes smaller, the base lip 27 is pushed in, so that the variation in the manufacturing error is absorbed.
[0014]
The invention according to claim 2 relates to a molded part of an automotive door weatherstrip that achieves the second object. As shown in FIGS. 7 and 13 to 16, it is attached to the outer peripheral end face 1 a of the door frame 1. Base portions 21 and 28, and a lip 23 that protrudes outward from the outer side surface of the vehicle and elastically contacts the inner surface of the door frame outer peripheral projection edge 1b. The base portions 21 and 28 include the upper side portion 9c and the upper side portion. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
FIG. 13 shows a molded part of a door weather strip for automobiles according to the present invention, and FIG. 14 shows a cross section taken along the line B-B of FIG. 13, and a base attached to the outer peripheral end face 1 a of the door frame 1. A portion 21, a hollow seal portion 22 that presses against the peripheral edge 4 of the door opening of the vehicle body when the door is closed, and protrudes laterally from the side surface outside the vehicle, and on the inner surface of the outer peripheral projection edge 1 b of the door frame 1. When the door is closed, the lip 23 comes into contact with a sub lip 24 that comes into pressure contact with the edge of the door opening of the vehicle body. The upper edge 9c and the corner 9b extending from the upper edge 9c to the vertical edge 9a are formed on the outer peripheral edge 1a. In the automobile door weather strip in which the vertical side portion 9a is fixed by the double-sided adhesive tape 25 by the clip K (see FIG. 4), the side edge of the base portion 21 on the outer side of the base frame 21 is covered with the outer peripheral end surface 1a. The lip portion 26 is formed so as to protrude from the intermediate portion and is connected to the lip 23. The double-sided adhesive tape 25 is in close contact with the lip portion 26 to make the lip portion 26 watertight. The adhesive tape 25 is pressed and adhered to the door frame outer peripheral end surface 1a until the lip portion 26 contacts the door frame outer peripheral end surface 1a, so that the lip portion 26 is in contact with the door frame outer peripheral end surface 1a. It is designed to be watertight.
[0023]
According to the present embodiment, when the water that has entered from between the lip 23 and the door frame outer peripheral projection edge 1b reaches the end of the mold forming part, the lip part 26 comes into close contact with the side surface of the double-sided adhesive tape 25 and the door frame outer peripheral end face. Since the space between the adhesive tape 25 and the door frame outer peripheral end surface 1a is watertight in contact with 1a, it flows along the lip portion 26, then along the lip 23, and flows down to the vertical side portion. 15 and 16 show another embodiment, in which the same structures as those in FIGS. 13 and 14 are denoted by the same reference numerals.
[0024]
In the present embodiment, the base portion 21 is formed in a thick base portion 28, a notch 29 is cut into the base portion 28 from the vehicle outer side surface, and a base lip 27 whose both ends and back are connected to the base portion 21 is bagged. The base lip 27 is bonded to the door frame outer peripheral end face 1a with a double-sided adhesive tape 25.
[0025]
Also in the present embodiment, the water that has entered from between the lip 23 and the door frame outer peripheral protruding edge 1b flows along the lip portion 26 and flows into the gap 29 formed by the base lip 27 having a bag shape. Then, after flowing out of the gap 29 and flowing down to the vertical side portion and reaching the mold forming portion, it does not flow along the adhesive tape 25. Therefore, the vehicle passes through the triangular gap formed at the end of the adhesive tape. It does not enter the indoor side.
[0026]
The base portions 21 and 28 attached to the upper side portion 9c and the corner portion 9b described above are provided with positioning clips in the vehicle front-rear direction and the vehicle left-right direction at relatively long intervals. , 28 may be bonded to the outer peripheral end face 1a with the adhesive tape 25 while being positioned. When providing a positioning clip, in order to avoid the clip, the width of the adhesive tape 25 is approximately half of the bottom surface of the base portions 21 and 28, and the adhesive tape 25 is attached to the end of the base portions 21 and 28 outside the vehicle. You may stick along.
[0027]
【The invention's effect】
According to the first aspect of the invention, even if the shape of the outer peripheral end face of the door frame and the position of the clip push hole may vary due to manufacturing errors, the base lip expands or is pushed in, so that the variation is absorbed. Thus, the adhesive tape can be reliably bonded to the outer peripheral end surface of the door frame.
[0028]
According to the inventions according to claims 2 and 3 , even if the adhesive by the double-sided adhesive tape is applied from the upper side part to the corner part and a triangular gap is formed at the end of the adhesive tape, the lip and door frame on the upper side part After the water that has entered from between the peripheral protrusions reaches the mold forming part, it is blocked by the lip part and does not flow along the adhesive tape, and therefore does not flow into the gap.
[0029]
In the inventions according to claims 4 and 5 , the effects of the inventions according to claims 1, 2 and 3 can be obtained.
