Description
本出願は、全体が引用により本明細書に組み入れられる「複数の異なるロボットタスク能力を構成する複数の動作モードを備えた交換可能自動移動ロボット」という名称の2017年1月10日に出願された米国仮特許出願第62/444,693号明細書に対する優先権を主張するものである。
Claims (32)
- 建物構造体を備えた自動ストアであって、
前記建物構造体が、
前記自動ストアに新しい在庫イーチを包含する製品トートが補充される補充セクションと、
顧客からの注文を履行するワークステーションにて前記製品トートから注文トートにイーチが移送される自動履行セクションと、
前記自動履行セクションからの前記注文トートが前記顧客への配送に利用される配送セクションと、
を含み、
前記自動ストアが更に、
前記補充セクションを移動するよう構成された移動ロボットを備え、
前記自動履行セクション及び前記配送セクションは、タスク優先順位に基づく異なる動作モードにあり、前記異なる動作モードは、補充モード、注文履行モード及び配送モードを含み、
前記補充モードでは、前記移動ロボットが、受け取られた前記製品トートを保管庫に輸送するよう構成され、
前記注文履行モードでは、前記移動ロボットが、前記製品トートを前記ワークステーションに輸送し、且つ前記注文トートを前記ワークステーション及び前記配送セクションに輸送するよう構成され、
前記配送モードでは、前記移動ロボットが、注文トートを前記配送セクションにおける場所に輸送し、前記注文トートを前記顧客への配送に利用できるようにするよう構成されることを特徴とする自動ストア。 - 前記異なる動作モードは、デフラグメンテーションモードを含み、前記デフラグメンテーションモードでは、前記移動ロボットが、デフラグメンテーションステーションにて製品トートを位置付けて、イーチを前記保管場所内に保管するための幾つかの製品トートに整理するよう構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動ストア。
- 前記移動ロボットは、前記デフラグメンテーションモードにあり、前記移動ロボットは、前記製品トートを前記デフラグメンテーションステーションに配送し、前記製品トート内で1又は2以上のサブトートを並べ替えることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の自動ストア。
- 空のサブトートは、1又は2以上の製品トートのサブセットに整理されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の自動ストア。
- 前記デフラグメンテーションモードは、空のサブトートを包含するトートを取り除いて保管密度を高くする段階を含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の自動ストア。
- 前記自動履行セクションは、アイルによって隔てられ複数の保管レベルを有する複数のラックモジュールを有する保管ラック構造体を含み、前記保管ラック構造体が、製品トート、注文トート及び/又は空のトートを含む複数のトートを保管することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動ストア。
- 前記動ロボットが前記注文履行モードに指定されて動作する時に、前記移動ロボットは、前記自動履行セクションの保管ラック構造体を推進して通り、前記トートを前記保管ラック構造体に入れて、前記保管ラック構造体から前記トートを取り除き、前記トートを輸送することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の自動ストア。
- 前記タスク優先順位は、時刻が前記注文履行モード、前記補充モード、又は前記配送モードの前記移動ロボットの指定の基礎として作用するような方式で前記時刻に少なくとも一部基づいて決定されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動ストア。
- 前記タスク優先順位は、前記注文履行モード、前記補充モード、又は前記配送の各々で完了されるタスクの相対的量に少なくとも一部基づいて決定されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動ストア。
- 前記タスク優先順位は、注文をピックアップするために到着する前記顧客の指示に少なくとも一部基づいて決定されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動ストア。
- 顧客注文の受信時に、前記タスク優先順位は、前記移動ロボットの動作モードを、前記顧客のイーチが注文トートにまだ入れられていない注文履行モードに設定することを特徴とする請求項10に記載の自動ストア。
- 前記顧客到着の指示時に、前記タスク優先順位は、前記顧客のイーチが注文トートに入れられている配送モードに前記移動ロボットの動作モードを設定することを特徴とする請求項10に記載の自動ストア。
- 前記タスク優先順位は、前記自動履行セクションで完了されるタスクの相対的量並びに前記配送セクション内の場所への完了した注文トートの配送に高い優先順位を与える適用加重に少なくとも一部基づいて決定されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動ストア。
- 前記タスク優先順位は、前記注文履行モード及び補充モードにおける動作よりも前記配送モードにおける注文トートの配送を優先させる優先順位によって決定されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動ストア。
- 前記タスク優先順位は、前記補充モードにおける動作よりも前記注文履行モードにおける動作を優先させる優先順位によって決定されることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の自動ストア。
- 前記タスク優先順位は、デフラグメンテーションモードにおける動作よりも前記補充モードにおける動作を優先させる優先順位によって決定され、前記デフラグメンテーションモードでは、前記移動ロボットは、デフラグメンテーションステーションにて製品トートを位置付けて、前記保管場所に保管するためのより少ない製品トートにイーチを整理するよう構成されることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の自動ストア。
- 前記製品トートは、前記製品トートが前記自動ストアに到着する前に前記新しい在庫イーチがストックされることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動ストア。
- 前記製品トートは、前記補充セクションで前記新しい在庫イーチをストックしたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動ストア。
- 建物構造体を備えた自動ストアであって、
前記建物構造体が、
前記自動ストアに新しい在庫イーチを包含する製品トートが補充される補充セクションと、
顧客からの注文を履行するワークステーションにて前記製品トートから注文トートにイーチが移送される自動履行セクションと、
前記自動履行セクションからの前記注文トートが前記顧客への配送に利用される配送セクションと、を含み、
前記自動ストアが更に、
全体にわたって移動して、前記補充セクション、前記自動履行セクション及び前記配送セクションの各々内で機能を実行するよう構成された移動ロボットを備えることを特徴とする自動ストア。 - 前記自動履行セクションは更に、前記保管場所での保管のためより少数の製品トートにイーチを整理することによって前記製品トートのデフラグメンテーション用に構成され、前記移動ロボットは、前記製品トートのデフラグメンテーションステーションを可能にする機能を実行するよう構成されることを特徴とする請求項17に記載の自動ストア。
- 前記建物構造体は更に、前記顧客による選択のための代替不能物品を含むショッピングセクションを含み、顧客によって選択された前記代替不能物品は、移送ステーションに配送されることを特徴とする請求項17に記載の自動ストア。
- 前記移動ロボットは更に、前記移送ステーションから代替不能物品を出庫し、前記代替不能物品を前記顧客への配送のため配送セクションに配送するよう構成されることを特徴とする請求項19に記載の自動ストア。
- 前記移動ロボットは更に、前記移送ステーションから代替不能物品を出庫し、顧客のための前記代替不能物品を当該顧客のためのイーチを備えた注文トートに追加できる場所に前記代替不能物品を運ぶように構成されることを特徴とする請求項19に記載の自動ストア。
- 前記移動ロボットの機能は、前記自動履行セクション及び補充セクションの機能よりも前記配送セクションへの前記注文トートの配送を優先させる優先順位によって決定されることを特徴とする請求項17に記載の自動ストア。
- 前記移動ロボットの機能は、前記補充セクションにおける機能よりも前記自動履行セクションにおける機能を優先させる優先順位によって決定されることを特徴とする請求項22に記載の自動ストア。
- 前記移動ロボットの機能は、前記製品トートのデフラグメンテーションに関係付けられる機能よりも前記補充セクションにおける機能を優先させる優先順位によって決定され、前記製品トートのデフラグメンテーションは、前記保管場所に保管するためのより少数の製品トートにイーチを整理することを含むことを特徴とする請求項23に記載の自動ストア。
- (a)補充セクションにおいて、移動ロボットによって輸送される在庫イーチを包含する製品トートを受け取る段階と、
(b)前記移動ロボットによって保管場所から前記製品トートを出庫し、前記トートを顧客の注文に基づいて前記製品トートから注文トートへのイーチの移送のための注文履行セクションに輸送する段階と、
(c)前記移動ロボットによって注文トートを前記顧客への前記注文トートの配送のため配送セクションに輸送する段階と、を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記移動ロボットによって前記注文トートを前記保管のための自動履行セクションにおける前記保管場所に輸送する段階を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項27に記載の方法。
- 前記移動ロボットによって前記製品トートをデフラグメンテーションステーションに輸送する段階を含み、前記イーチが前記保管場所における保管のためのより少数の製品トートに整理される請求項27に記載の方法。
- 前記移動ロボットによって移送ステーションから前記配送セクションへ代替不能物品を移送する段階を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項27に記載の方法。
- 顧前記移動ロボットによって移送ステーションから前記顧客のための注文トートのイーチと組み合わせるための場所へ前記顧客の代替不能物品を移送する段階を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項27に記載の方法。
- 建物構造体を備えた自動ストアであって、
前記建物構造体が、
前記自動ストアに新しい在庫イーチを包含する製品トートが補充される補充セクションと、
イーチが、顧客からの注文を履行するためのワークステーションで製品トートから注文トートに移送される自動履行セクションと、
前記自動履行セクションで満たされた注文トートが前記顧客への配送に利用できるようになる配送セクションと、を含み、
前記自動ストアが更に、
補充セクション全体を移動するよう構成された移動ロボットを備え、
前記自動履行セクション及び前記配送セクションはタスク優先順位に基づく異なる動作モードにあり、前記異なる動作モードは、補充モード、注文履行モード及び配送モードを含み、前記補充、注文履行及び配送モードにおいて、前記移動ロボットは、
受け取られた製品トートを保管庫に輸送する、
前記製品トートを前記ワークステーションに輸送して、前記注文トートを前記ワークステーション及び前記配送セクションに輸送し、
注文トートを前記配送セクションにおける場所に輸送し前記注文トートを前記顧客への配送に利用可能にするように構成されることを特徴とする自動ストア。
