前記外側カバーの上側を覆って配置されかつ前記内側フレームの形状に一致する材料層であって、前記弁尖の腹部領域が前記環状領域内へ膨らむのを防止するように構成された材料層と、をさらに備える、請求項10に記載の人工心臓弁。 - 心房内に配置されるように構成された心房端部、及び対向する心室端部を有する外側フレームアセンブリと、
前記外側フレームアセンブリ内に配置されかつそれに結合され、かつ前記心房内に配置されるように構成された心房端部、及び対向する心室端部を有する内側弁アセンブリであって、前記内側弁アセンブリ及び前記外側フレームアセンブリは、それらの間に環状領域を規定し、前記内側弁アセンブリ及び前記外側フレームアセンブリは、前記環状領域を通るそれらの間の血流を実質的に防止するように構成されている、内側弁アセンブリと、
前記外側フレームアセンブリと前記内側弁アセンブリとの間に結合されかつそれらと共に前記環状空間の一部分を囲んで、血栓保持ポケットを形成するポケットクロージャであって、前記ポケットクロージャの少なくとも一部分は、赤血球が前記ポケットクロージャを通って前記ポケットに入ることができる程十分に大きくかつ前記赤血球から形成された血栓が前記ポケットから前記ポケットクロージャを通過するのを防止する程十分に小さい細孔の多孔性を有する材料で形成される、ポケットクロージャと、を備える人工心臓弁であって、

開放端部部分を有しかつ前記内側フレームに結合された外側フレームであって、前記外側フレーム及び前記内側フレームが、前記内側フレームの一部分と前記外側フレームの一部分との間に、前記外側フレームの前記開放端部部分及び前記内側フレームの前記開放端部部分の方へ開口している環状領域を形成し、
前記外側フレームがバイアスされた拡張構成にある、前記内側フレームに対する第1位置と、前記外側フレームが前記内側フレームに対して裏返される、前記内側フレームに対する第2位置との間で移動可能である、外側フレームと、
前記内側フレームに配置された外側カバーと、
前記内側フレームの内部に配置された弁尖と、
前記外側カバーの上側を覆って配置されかつ前記内側フレームの形状に一致する材料層であって、前記弁尖の腹部領域が前記環状領域内へ膨らむのを防止するように構成された材料層と、を備える人工心臓弁。 - 前記材料層がポリエステル材料を含む、請求項26に記載の人工弁。
- 前記内側フレームの外部に配置された前記外側カバーが生体組織を含み、前記材料層がポリエステル材料を含む、請求項26に記載の人工弁。
- 前記外側フレームの内部に配置された内側カバーと、
前記外側フレームの少なくとも一部分の外部に配置された外側カバーと、をさらに備える、請求項26に記載の人工弁。 - 前記外側フレームが前記第1位置にあるとき、前記外側フレームの前記開放端部部分及び前記内側フレームの前記開放端部部分はそれぞれ、同じ方向に配置され、前記外側フレームが前記第2位置にあるとき、前記外側フレームの前記開放端部部分は、前記内側フレームの前記開放端部部分とは反対の方向に配置される、請求項26に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記外側フレームが、複数のカップリング継手において前記内側フレームに結合され、前記内側フレームは、前記内側フレームの前記開放端部部分に対向してテザー結合部分を含み、
前記外側フレームが前記第1位置にあるとき、前記カップリング継手は、前記外側フレームの前記開放端部部分と前記内側フレームの前記テザー結合部分との間に配置され、
前記外側フレームが前記第2位置にあるとき、前記カップリング継手は、前記内側フレームの前記開放端部部分と前記外側フレームの前記開放端部部分との間に配置される、請求項26に記載の人工心臓弁。
