Claims (15)
- 第1構成部材(22)と第2構成部材(24)と、
前記第1構成部材(22)と前記第2構成部材(24)とを互いに接合する接合部(26)と、
前記第1構成部材(22)と前記第2構成部材(24)とに係着されたインジケータピン(28)と、を備え、
前記インジケータピン(28)は、前記第1構成部材(22)と前記第2構成部材(24)との間の相対移動が発生したことを示すように構成されている、
ことを特徴とする構造材(20)。 - 前記インジケータピン(28)は、前記第1構成部材(22)と前記第2構成部材(24)との間の相対移動量が所定の限界値より大きくなったことを示すように、前記第1構成部材(22)及び前記第2構成部材(24)に係着されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の構造材(20)。
- 前記インジケータピン(28)は、前記第1構成部材(22)と前記第2構成部材(24)との間の相対移動が発生したときに、塑性変形を生じるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2記載の構造材(20)。
- 前記インジケータピン(28)は前記構造材(20)に形成された孔(32)の中に収容されており、該孔(32)の、少なくとも前記第1構成部材(22)及び/または前記第2構成部材(24)の中における直径は、前記インジケータピン(28)の直径より大きいことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項3の何れか1項記載の構造材(20)。
- 前記インジケータピン(28)は、該インジケータピン(28)に所定の大きさの荷重が作用したときに変形し及び/または破断する破壊予定箇所(40)を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項4の何れか1項記載の構造材(20)。
- 前記インジケータピン(28)は前記第1構成部材(22)に係着された頭部(38)と前記第2構成部材(24)に係着された細長い脚部(34)とを備えており、
前記頭部(38)は前記インジケータピン(28)に所定の大きさの荷重が作用したときに前記脚部(34)に対して屈曲するようにしてあるか、または、前記頭部(38)は前記インジケータピン(28)に所定の大きさの荷重が作用したときに前記脚部(34)から離脱するようにしてある、
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項5の何れか1項記載の構造材(20)。 - 前記インジケータピン(28)は頭部(38)を備えており、該頭部(38)は、前記第1構成部材(22)の表面と前記頭部(38)の表面とが面一となるように、前記第1構成部材(22)に設けられた凹部の中に収容されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項6の何れか1項記載の構造材(20)。
- 前記インジケータピン(28)は閉じた空洞部(50)を備えており、前記インジケータピン(28)が変形することによって該空洞部(50)が開かれるようにしてあることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項7の何れか1項記載の構造材(20)。
- 前記空洞部(50)に検出可能な物質(52)が封入されていることを特徴とする請求項8記載の構造材(20)。
- 前記空洞部(50)に識別色塗料が封入されていることを特徴とする請求項8又は請求項9記載の構造材(20)。
- 前記インジケータピン(28)は該構造材に鋲止めされていることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項10の何れか1項記載の構造材(20)。
- 前記インジケータピン(28)の脚部(34)は少なくとも前記第2構成部材(24)に螺着されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項11の何れか1項記載の構造材(20)。
- 請求項1〜請求項12の何れか1項記載の構造材(20)を備えている航空機(12)。
- 構造材(20)の損傷の検出方法であって、
接合部(26)において互いに接合された前記構造材の第1構成部材(22)及び第2構成部材(24)にインジケータピン(28)を係着するステップと、
前記接合部(26)の損傷に起因する前記第1構成部材(22)と前記第2構成部材(24)との間の相対移動によって生じる前記インジケータピン(28)の変形を検出するステップと、
を備えることを特徴とする検出方法。 - 前記インジケータピン(28)が変形したときに前記インジケータピン(28)から漏出する物質(52)を用いて前記変形を検出するステップ、及び/または、
前記インジケータピン(28)の電気的特性の変化を利用して前記変形を検出するステップ、
を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項14記載の検出方法。
