Abstract
【解決手段】本発明による車両の注意喚起装置では、運転者の注意力レベルATT_LVLを推定し(図4のステップ17)、車両3の異常挙動(ふらつき)を検出する(図4のステップ19〜21)。そして、推定された運転者の注意力レベルATT_LVLが所定レベルを下回るとともに、車両3の異常挙動が検出されることを条件として、運転者への触覚情報の提示を、運転者の注意を喚起するための警報として実行する(図6のステップ46、48、49、53)。

Claims (8)
- 車両の運転に対する運転者の注意力レベルが低下したときに、運転者に注意を喚起する車両の注意喚起装置であって、
運転者の注意力レベルを推定する注意力レベル推定手段と、
前記車両の所定の異常挙動を検出する異常挙動検出手段と、
触覚による触覚情報を運転者に提示するための触覚情報提示手段を有する警報手段と、を備え、
前記警報手段は、前記推定された運転者の注意力レベルが所定レベルを下回るとともに、前記車両の前記異常挙動が検出されることを条件として、前記触覚情報提示手段による前記触覚情報の提示を、運転者の注意を喚起するための警報として実行することを特徴とする車両の注意喚起装置。 - 前記警報手段は、
聴覚又は視覚の少なくとも一方による情報を運転者に提示するための第1警報手段をさらに有し、
前記運転者の注意力レベルが前記所定レベルを下回ったときに、前記第1警報手段による前記情報の提示を、第1警報として実行するとともに、前記車両の所定の運転期間内に少なくとも1回の前記第1警報が実行されていることを条件として、前記触覚情報提示手段による前記触覚情報の提示を、第2警報として実行することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の車両の注意喚起装置。 - 前記警報手段は、前記第1警報の実行中であることを条件として、前記第2警報を実行することを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の車両の注意喚起装置。
- 前記触覚情報提示手段は、運転者によって操作される操作部材を振動させることにより、前記触覚情報を運転者に提示するように構成されており、
前記警報手段は、前記第1警報の実行中に前記第2警報を実行する際、前記第1警報手段による情報の提示と、前記触覚情報提示手段による前記操作部材の振動とを互いに同期させることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の車両の注意喚起装置。 - 前記警報手段は、前記車両の前記異常挙動が検出されていることを条件として、前記第1警報を実行することを特徴とする、請求項2ないし4のいずれかに記載の車両の注意喚起装置。
- 前記推定された運転者の注意力レベルを表示する注意力レベル表示手段をさらに備え、
前記警報手段は、前記所定レベルを下回る前記運転者の注意力レベルが前記注意力レベル表示手段に表示されている状態で、前記触覚情報提示手段による警報を実行することを特徴とする、請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載の車両の注意喚起装置。 - 前記車両の前記異常挙動よりも異常の度合が高い前記車両の所定の第2異常挙動を検出する第2異常挙動検出手段をさらに備え、
前記警報手段は、前記車両の前記第2異常挙動が検出されたときには、前記運転者の注意力レベルにかかわらず、前記触覚情報提示手段による警報を実行することを特徴とする、請求項1ないし6のいずれかに記載の車両の注意喚起装置。 - 前記警報手段は、前記車両の前記第2異常挙動の検出に基づいて前記触覚情報提示手段による警報を実行した後、所定時間が経過するまでは、前記運転者の注意力レベルの低下に基づく前記触覚情報提示手段による警報を禁止することを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の車両の注意喚起装置。
