Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の一実施形態に係る電気泳動表示装置は、下部基板、上部基板、前記下部基板の上に形成されている薄膜トランジスタ、前記薄膜トランジスタに接続される画素電極、前記下部基板と前記上部基板との間に位置する画素電極の上に位置する電子インク層、前記電子インク層の上に位置するレンズ、及び前記上部基板に形成される複数個のカラーフィルタを含む。

- 下部基板、
上部基板、
前記下部基板の上に形成されている薄膜トランジスタ、
前記薄膜トランジスタに接続される画素電極、
前記下部基板と前記上部基板との間に位置する画素電極の上に位置する電子インク層、
前記電子インク層の上に位置するレンズ、及び
前記上部基板に形成される複数個のカラーフィルタを含む電気泳動表示装置。 - 前記電子インク層は、
複数個の球形のマイクロカプセル、及び
前記球形のマイクロカプセルを支持する支持層を含み、
前記マイクロカプセルは、前記マイクロカプセルの内部に配置される複数の白色帯電粒子または複数の黒色帯電粒子を含む、請求項1に記載の電気泳動表示装置。 - 前記マイクロカプセルは、前記マイクロカプセルの内部に配置される複数の白色帯電粒子及び複数の黒色帯電粒子を含み、
前記白色帯電粒子と前記黒色帯電粒子は互いに反対極性に帯電している、請求項2に記載の電気泳動表示装置。 - 前記電子インク層は前記マイクロカプセルの上に形成される共通電極をさらに含む、請求項3に記載の電気泳動表示装置。
- 前記各カラーフィルタは第1カラーフィルタ及び第2カラーフィルタに分離される、請求項1に記載の電気泳動表示装置。
- 前記第1カラーフィルタと前記第2カラーフィルタとの間に位置する開口部をさらに含む、請求項5に記載の電気泳動表示装置。
- 前記下部基板と前記上部基板との間に位置する圧電体をさらに含む、請求項6に記載の電気泳動表示装置。
- 前記各カラーフィルタは互いに離隔している、請求項1に記載の電気泳動表示装置。
- 前記下部基板の上に位置する支持台をさらに含む、請求項8に記載の電気泳動表示装置。
- 前記支持台と前記上部基板との間に位置する圧電体をさらに含む、請求項9に記載の電気泳動表示装置。
