Description
本国際出願は、2008年10月10日に出願された米国仮特許出願第61/104,501号明細書に対する優先権の利益を主張する。本願はまた、2006年10月6日に出願された米国特許出願第11/544,856号明細書の一部継続出願である2007年4月13日に出願された米国特許出願第11/786,832号明細書にも関連する。前述の出願の各々の開示は、全体として参照により本明細書に援用される。
Claims (8)
- 複数の手術用アクセス・ポートを有する、最小侵襲手術手技を実施するためのキットであって、各ポートが、
a)対向する近位端部分と遠位端部分とを有する細長本体であって、そこを通じて延在する中心ルーメンを有し、かつその前記近位端部分と前記遠位端部分との間に形成された弾性球状部分であって、前記球状部分が第1の直径と第1の長さとを有する第1の状態と、前記球状部分が前記第1の直径より小さい第2の直径と前記第1の長さより大きい第2の長さとを有する第2の状態との間を移行するように適合及び構成される弾性球状部分を有する本体と、
b)前記本体の前記中心ルーメン内に配置されたテレスコープ式ガイド・チューブ・アセンブリであって、前記球状部分の前記第1の状態に対応する第1の長さと、前記球状部分の前記第2の状態に対応する第2の長さとの間を移行するように適合及び構成されるガイド・チューブ・アセンブリと、を含み、前記手術用アクセス・ポートのうちの少なくとも1個が、前記キットに提供される他の手術用アクセス・ポートのうちの少なくとも1個より長い全長を有する、キット。 - 3個のアクセス・ポートが含まれ、前記アクセス・ポートのうちの1個がその他の2個のアクセス・ポートより長い、請求項1に記載のキット。
- 4個のアクセス・ポートが含まれ、前記アクセス・ポートのうちの2個がその他の2個のアクセス・ポートより長い、請求項1に記載のキット。
- 前記複数のアクセス・ポートのうちの少なくとも1個が、前記複数のアクセス・ポートのうちの少なくとも1個の他のものと入れ子になるように適合及び構成される、請求項1に記載のキット。
- 腹腔鏡下手術手技の実施方法であって、
a)手術部位にアクセスするための切開を患者に設けるステップと、
b)前記切開に第1の手術用アクセス・ポートを挿入するステップと、
c)前記切開に第2の手術用アクセス・ポートを挿入するステップと、
d)前記第1の手術用アクセス・ポートと第2の手術用アクセス・ポートとの間に前記第3の手術用アクセス・ポートを挿入するステップであって、少なくとも1個のアクセス・ポートが、少なくとも1つの他の手術用アクセス・ポートより長い長さを有する、ステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記手術用アクセス・ポートの各々が、
a)対向する近位端部分と遠位端部分とを有する細長本体であって、そこを通じて延在する中心ルーメンを有し、かつその前記近位端部分と前記遠位端部分との間に形成された弾性球状部分であって、前記球状部分が第1の直径と第1の長さとを有する第1の状態と、前記球状部分が前記第1の直径より小さい第2の直径と前記第1の長さより大きい第2の長さとを有する第2の状態との間を移行するように適合及び構成される弾性球状部分を有する本体と、
b)前記本体の前記中心ルーメン内に配置されたテレスコープ式ガイド・チューブ・アセンブリであって、前記球状部分の前記第1の状態に対応する第1の長さと、前記球状部分の前記第2の状態に対応する第2の長さとの間を移行するように適合及び構成されるガイド・チューブ・アセンブリと、
を含む、請求項5に記載の方法。 - 前記手術手技が子宮摘出術である、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記手術手技が胆嚢摘出術である、請求項5に記載の方法。
