Abstract
Description
本発明は、ニッケルナノ粒子の製造方法に関するもので、特に均一な大きさの分散安定性が優れたニッケルナノ粒子の製造方法に関する。 The present invention relates to a method for producing nickel nanoparticles, and more particularly to a method for producing nickel nanoparticles having excellent dispersion stability with a uniform size.
最近、電気機器の小型化に応じて電子部品の小型化が切実に要求されており、これにより積層セラミックコンデンサ(MLCC)において小型化、高容量化されたものが要求されていて、基板においても高密度、高集積の多層基板が要求されている。 Recently, there has been an urgent demand for miniaturization of electronic components in accordance with miniaturization of electrical equipment, and as a result, multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) that have been miniaturized and increased in capacity have been demanded. A high-density, highly integrated multilayer substrate is required.
In such multilayer ceramic capacitors and substrates, expensive noble metal materials such as silver, platinum, or palladium have been used as internal conductive materials or electrode materials, but they have been replaced with nickel particles to reduce manufacturing costs. It is a trend that is. Among them, in the multilayer ceramic capacitor, the nickel electrode layer is lower than the packing density of the compacted body by powder metallurgy, and the shrinkage amount corresponding to sintering during firing is larger than that of the dielectric layer. There is a problem that defects are likely to occur. In order to prevent such problems, the nickel powder used as the internal electrode layer should contain large particles, have a narrow and uniform particle size distribution, and have excellent dispersibility without aggregation. For this reason, there is a demand for a method for producing nickel particles having excellent nano-size dispersion stability and uniform size.
しかし、従来のニッケル粒子の製造方法による100nm以下の均一で分散安定性が優れたナノ粒子を製造する方法は提案されていない。 However, a method for producing nanoparticles having a uniform dispersion stability of 100 nm or less and excellent dispersion stability by a conventional nickel particle production method has not been proposed.
According to one conventional example, a method of vapor phase reduction with hydrogen at a high temperature of about 1000 ° C. has been proposed. The growth occurs simultaneously, and there is a large particle size distribution with a large particle size of 1 μm, which is insufficient for application to internal electrodes and internal wiring. In addition, according to another conventional example, fine powder of submicron units can be produced by a wet reduction method, but the generated nanoparticles are not uniform due to a large number of reaction variables. The surface of the powder is not smooth and is manufactured to a size of 200 nm to 1 μm, and it is difficult to manufacture uniform particles of 100 nm or less.
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention provides a smooth surface nickel having excellent dispersion stability of uniform size by a method of forming a nickel-hydrazine deposit in a reverse microemulsion and then reducing it. 本発明は、逆マイクロエマルジョン中でニッケル−ヒドラジン着物を形成した後還元する方法により均一な大きさの優れた分散安定性を有する平滑な表面のニッケルナノ粒子を製造する方法およびこれにより製造されるニッケルナノ粒子を提供することができる。また、本発明は100nm以下、好ましくは10ないし50nmの狭い粒度分布を有するニッケルナノ粒子の製造方法およびこれにより製造されるニッケルナノ粒子を提供することができる。 The present invention relates to a method for producing nickel nanoparticles having a uniform size and having excellent dispersion stability by forming nickel-hydrazine deposits in an inverse microemulsion and then reducing the same, and a method for producing the same. Nickel nanoparticles can be provided. In addition, the present invention can provide a method for producing nickel nanoparticles having a narrow particle size distribution of 100 nm or less, preferably 10 to 50 nm, and nickel nanoparticles produced thereby.
以下、本発明の実施形態に係るニッケルナノ粒子の製造方法およびこれにより製造されるニッケルナノ粒子に対して詳しく説明する。また、本実施形態を詳しく説明することに先立って、逆マイクロエマルジョン(reverse microemulsion)方式に対して先に説明する。 Hereinafter, the manufacturing method of the nickel nanoparticle concerning embodiment of this invention and the nickel nanoparticle manufactured by this are demonstrated in detail. Prior to detailed description of the present embodiment, a reverse microemulsion system will be described first.
When a hardly soluble substance is dissolved in water or a new aqueous substance by adding a surfactant, the micelle expands in response to solubilization. At this time, the micelle system expanded in response to solubilization is called a microemulsion. This microemulsion forms a thermodynamically stable system, but the microemulsion has oil-in-water type when the micelles are expanded in water or hydrophilic systems, and reverse micelles in oil or hydrophobic systems. There is a Water-in-Oil type which is expanded by solubilizing a large amount of water or a new aqueous substance. A method using this Water-in-Oil type is called a reverse microemulsion method. The present embodiment relates to a method of forming nano-sized uniform fine droplets formed by a surfactant by incorporating an arbitrary surfactant by this inverse microemulsion method.
この微細液滴中に、先ずヒドラジンを含む化合物を添加して着物を形成した後、この着物を還元させて均一なニッケル粒子を形成させながらも他の微細粒子との凝集を阻んで表面が平滑で優れた分散安定性を有するニッケルナノ粒子を製造することができる。これのために本実施形態では、補助界面活性剤を含むことができる。 First, a compound containing hydrazine is added to the fine droplets to form a kimono, and then the kimono is reduced to form uniform nickel particles while preventing aggregation with other fine particles and smoothing the surface. And nickel nanoparticles having excellent dispersion stability can be produced. For this reason, in this embodiment, a cosurfactant can be included.
The method for producing nickel nanoparticles according to the present invention includes: (a) a step of forming an aqueous solution containing a nickel precursor, a surfactant and a hydrophobic solvent; and (b) adding a compound containing hydrazine to the mixture to add nickel. -Forming a hydrazine deposit, and (c) adding a reducing agent to the mixture containing the nickel-hydrazine deposit to form nickel nanoparticles. Unlike the conventional method of producing nanoparticles by the inverse microemulsion method, the present invention is to first form a nickel deposit and then reduce it to stably produce nano-sized uniform particles. It is the feature. In addition, after such a step, there is an advantage that nickel nanoparticles having excellent dispersion stability can be produced.
Looking at this step by step, a reverse microemulsion containing a nickel precursor containing nickel ions and a surfactant is prepared. Here, the nickel precursor is used without limitation as long as it is a compound containing nickel ions, but a nickel salt can be preferably used. Examples of the nickel salt include NiCl 2 , Ni (NO 3 ) 2 , NiSO 4 or (CH 3 COO) 2 Ni, and one or a mixture of two or more thereof can be used. The nickel precursor is preferably contained in an amount of 0.1 to 10 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the total aqueous solution. When the nickel precursor is contained in less than 0.1 part by weight, the provided nickel ion is small and preferable in terms of efficiency. When the nickel precursor is contained in excess of 10 parts by weight, the formed nickel particles are united with each other. Unfavorable for forming nanoparticles. Here, the smaller the nickel precursor content, the smaller the size of the nickel nanoparticles.
As surfactants, cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB), sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVC), sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (PVC), sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (PVC) Can be used. In addition to this surfactant, an auxiliary surfactant can be further added to stably form fine micelles. Examples of this auxiliary surfactant include alcohol compounds such as ethanol, propanol or butanol. Here, the surfactant may be included in an amount of 0.1 to 20 moles with respect to 1 mole of distilled water added to the aqueous solution. This is preferable because it can be sufficiently covered. At this time, nickel nanoparticles having a smaller size can be formed as the content of the surfactant is higher. Further, the auxiliary surfactant may be included in an amount of 20 to 40 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the distilled water. , Exceeding 40 parts by weight is not preferable because it inhibits the action of the surfactant and interferes with the formation of a stable microemulsion.
Such a nickel precursor and a surfactant are mixed with a hydrophobic solvent and distilled water. Here, as the hydrophobic solvent, hexane, cyclohexane, heptane, octane, isooctane, decane, tetradecane, hexadecane are used. , Toluene, xylene, 1-octadecene or 1-hexadecene, or a mixture of hydrocarbon compounds such as 1-hexadecene can be used alone or in combination. The hydrophobic solvent may be included in an amount of 30 to 60 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the aqueous solution. When a hydrophobic solvent is contained at this ratio, a stable inverse microemulsion containing nickel ions can be formed.
Next, a step of forming a nickel deposit in the inverse microemulsion is performed. For this, a compound containing hydrazine is added. As an example, hydrazine, hydrazine hydrate, or hydrazine chloride can be used alone or in combination. Here, hydrazine is a compound having a structure of NH 2 NH 2 , hydrazine hydrate is a NH 2 NH 2 .nH 2 O, and hydrazine chloride is a compound having a structure of NH 2 NH 3 Cl. The hydrazine-containing compound can be added in an amount of 1 to 10 moles per mole of nickel ions provided from the nickel precursor, and if it is contained in less than 1 mole, a nickel deposit cannot be formed sufficiently. And if it exceeds 10 mol, it is not preferable in terms of efficiency.
Thereafter, a step of adding a reducing agent to the inverse microemulsion to form nickel particles is performed. As the reducing agent added here, sodium borohydride (NaBH 4 ) can be preferably used. Here, sodium borohydride may be included in an amount of 0.1 to 1 mol per mol of nickel ions, and if it is included in an amount less than 0.1 mol, the nickel-hydrazine deposit cannot be sufficiently reduced. When the amount exceeds 1 mol, side reactions occur excessively, and a reducing agent necessary for nickel reduction is added in an amount of 100% or more, which is not preferable in terms of efficiency. When 0.5 to 2 hours have elapsed after the addition of the reducing agent, nanoparticles having a narrow particle size distribution of 100 nm or less are formed. When the reduction reaction time is less than 0.5 hours, nickel ions are not sufficiently reduced, and when it exceeds 2 hours, nickel particles are excessively grown and become non-uniform.
本実施形態によれば、反応温度は、常温、すなわち25℃ないし60℃で行われることが好ましいが、60℃を超過すると反応が急速に起きて均一な粒子の形成が難しいし、粒子の成長を制御しにくくなって好ましくない。 According to the present embodiment, the reaction temperature is preferably room temperature, that is, 25 ° C. to 60 ° C., but if it exceeds 60 ° C., the reaction occurs rapidly and it is difficult to form uniform particles, and particle growth This is not preferable because it is difficult to control.
このような段階により形成されたニッケルナノ粒子を当該技術分野の通常的な方法により逆マイクロエマルジョンから分離する段階と、分離されたニッケルナノ粒子を洗浄した後乾燥する段階をさらに含むことができる。例えば、遠心分離により混合液からニッケルナノ粒子を分離することができるし、分離された粒子をアセトンと蒸留水を用いて洗浄して真空乾燥機で乾燥してナノ粒子を得ることができる。 The method may further include separating the nickel nanoparticles formed by the above steps from the inverse microemulsion according to a conventional method in the art, and washing the separated nickel nanoparticles and then drying them. For example, nickel nanoparticles can be separated from the mixture by centrifugation, and the separated particles can be washed with acetone and distilled water and dried with a vacuum dryer to obtain nanoparticles.

An SEM photograph of the nickel nanoparticles produced according to Example 3 is shown in FIG. Referring to FIG. 6, it was confirmed that spherical uniform particles having a diameter of 30 to 40 nm were formed.
<Comparative Example 1> 18 g of nickel chloride, 60 g of PVP, 150 g of ethanol, and 150 g of toluene were added to 300 g of distilled water and mixed with a stirrer at 40 ° C. to produce a reverse microemulsion. To this inverse microemulsion, 0.03 mol of NaBH 4 was added and stirred for 1 hour to produce nickel nanoparticles by a reduction reaction. Nickel nanoparticles were separated from the reverse microemulsion using a centrifuge. The separated nanoparticles were washed with acetone and distilled water three times and then dried for 3 hours with a vacuum dryer maintained at 50 ° C. to obtain nickel nanoparticles.
The nickel particles produced in Comparative Example 1 were 15 to 20 nm, but they were irregular in shape and agglomerated so severely that nanoparticles could not be formed. In Example 1, about 4 g of nickel nanoparticles could be obtained from 18 g of nickel chloride. This was redispersed in ethanol, centrifuged at 3000 rpm for 5 minutes, and then the precipitate was removed, whereby nickel nanoparticles having a dispersion stability of about 3.5 g could be obtained. Similar results could be obtained in the case of Examples 2 and 3 when measured by the same method.
これに反して、比較例1の場合等しく再分散させた時、凝集がひどくて3000rpmで5分間遠心分離を行うと、全量沈殿されて分散安定性を有するニッケルナノ粒子を得ることができなかった。 On the other hand, in the case of Comparative Example 1, when re-dispersed equally, the aggregation was severe, and when centrifugation was performed at 3000 rpm for 5 minutes, nickel nanoparticles having a dispersion stability could not be obtained because the whole amount was precipitated. .
