Abstract
Description
本発明に係る代表的なPVC配合物を下記表1に示す。
上述のNOPおよびNDP配合物を有するカレンダーシートは、DINPよりも柔軟で、透明である。NOPを有するシートが最も可撓性で、DINPを有するシートよりも約2倍柔軟であった。また、DINP/NOP(3:1)の混合物およびDINP/NDP(3:1)の混合物は、同一使用レベル(60質量部)でDINP単独のものよりも可撓性に優れたシートを生成した。
NOPおよびNDPの両者は、ゲル化の開始を示すプラスチゾルの粘度を上げ、ゲル化温度が下げ、ゲル化を増進した。高級アルキルピロリドンは、プラスチゾル用の長期開放時間を達成するのにより適していた。
下記表2に示す配合物を用いた。
水性PVC分散体における2〜8%のNOPまたはNDPは、最低フィルム形成温度(MFT)を14℃から2℃に下げ、これは顕著な減少かつ望ましい結果を示した。
[実施例2]
N−ドデシル−2−ピロリドンの可塑化効率
下記表3に示す組成物を用いた。
A.ゲル化温度の低減
NOPおよびNDP可塑化PVC組成物において、PVCのゲル化が45℃もしくはそれ以下の温度で起こる。
可塑化とゲル化が、NOPおよびNDP可塑化PVCでより速く起こり、生成収率を増やす。
NDPは、他の可塑剤を用いるよりも非常に低い使用レベルで高弾性のPVCを生成するのに極めて効率的である。PVC(K 70)において100質量部のNDPを用いると、40のショアA硬度を達成することができる。
本発明は、これら特定の態様を特に参照して説明したが、当業者の技術範囲内で変更および修正されるかもしれないことが理解されよう。
Claims (10)
- ポリ塩化ビニルを可撓性状態に可塑化するに充分な5〜400質量部の量で存在する炭素数4〜30の鎖状、分岐状または環状アルキルピロリドンを含むことを特徴とするポリ塩化ビニルポリマーの安定な可塑化組成物。
- 前記量が少なくとも10質量部である請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記量が10〜100質量部である請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 100未満のショアA硬度で特徴付けられたポリ塩化ビニル製品を提供する請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記アルキルピロリドンが、炭素数6〜20である請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記環状アルキルピロリドンが、炭素数6〜20である請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 室温で液状であり、かつ所望により一つ以上の一次および/または二次可塑剤を含有する請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記アルキルピロリドンが、炭素数8の鎖状アルキルピロリドンである請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記アルキルピロリドンが、炭素数12の鎖状アルキルピロリドンである請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 請求項1に記載の組成物を含み、カレンダーシート、プラスチゾル、フォーム、分散体、フィルム、サイディング、パイプまたはチューブの形態であることを特徴とするポリ塩化ビニル製品。
