Abstract
Description
本発明は、低廉で反射防止性に優れた表示パネル用保護カバー及びそれを用いたデジタルカメラに関する。 The present invention relates to a protective cover for a display panel that is inexpensive and excellent in antireflection properties and a digital camera using the same.
In recent years, various devices including a liquid crystal display device such as a digital camera have become widespread. However, the screen of the liquid crystal display device has a problem that when it receives an impact, it is damaged and the appearance is lost, or the display function is lost due to damage. Therefore, for example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2003-302620 (Patent Document 1) discloses a liquid crystal display device including a
Therefore, it has been proposed to apply an antireflection treatment or an antiglare treatment to a transparent substrate that protects the liquid crystal display device. For example, when an antireflection film having a low refractive index (for example, a thin film such as magnesium fluoride) is provided on a transparent substrate, the reflectance can be reduced. Further, when the anti-glare treatment (for example, blast treatment) is performed on the transparent substrate, fine irregularities are formed on the surface, so that the reflected image can be scattered by light scattering to blur the outline. However, even if a known antireflection film is provided on the transparent substrate, the reflection of the background cannot be sufficiently improved. On the other hand, when the antiglare treatment is performed, the transparent substrate becomes white when the power is turned off, and the appearance deteriorates. In particular, when the front surface of the transparent substrate is antiglare-treated, there is a problem that dust or the like enters the unevenness of the anti-glare-treated surface, becomes dirty, or is easily damaged.
そこで本出願人は、透明基板と反射防止用透明媒体層(水、紫外線硬化型アクリレート樹脂等)とを有し、反射防止用透明媒体層が表示パネルの画面に密接するように配置される保護カバーであって、透明基板の屈折率Ns'及び反射防止用透明媒体層の屈折率N1'が、下記一般式:
No<N1'<Ns'2
Therefore, the present applicant has a transparent substrate and an antireflection transparent medium layer (water, UV curable acrylate resin, etc.), and the antireflection transparent medium layer is disposed so as to be in close contact with the screen of the display panel. The refractive index Ns ′ of the transparent substrate and the refractive index N 1 ′ of the transparent medium layer for antireflection are the following general formula:
No <N 1 '<Ns' 2
(No is the refractive index of air), and a protective cover for a display panel was proposed (Japanese Patent Application No. 2005-002775). This protective cover is not only inexpensive and excellent in antireflection, but also reduces white blurring of the transparent substrate due to the antiglare treatment layer. However, since the transparent medium layer is provided on the anti-glare layer of the transparent substrate, the concave part of the anti-glare layer is filled with the transparent medium layer, the light scattering effect due to the unevenness is reduced, and the anti-glare effect is satisfied. I couldn't say it was possible.
従って、本発明の目的は、視認性に優れた表示パネル用保護カバー及びその用途を提供することである。 Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a display panel protective cover excellent in visibility and its use.
上記目的に鑑み鋭意研究の結果、本発明者らは、屈折率が互いに調整された透明基板と反射防止用透明媒体層とを有し、かつ前記反射防止用透明媒体層が透明樹脂マトリックス中に透明中空微粒子が分散してなる保護カバーを、前記反射防止用透明媒体層が表示パネルの画面に密接するように配置すると、優れた視認性が低廉に得られることを見出し、本発明に想到した。 As a result of intensive studies in view of the above object, the present inventors have a transparent substrate and an antireflection transparent medium layer whose refractive indexes are adjusted to each other, and the antireflection transparent medium layer is in the transparent resin matrix. The present inventors have found that when a protective cover in which transparent hollow fine particles are dispersed is disposed so that the antireflection transparent medium layer is in close contact with the screen of the display panel, excellent visibility can be obtained at low cost, and the present invention has been conceived. .

(c) Transparent resin and transparent hollow fine particles In the antireflection transparent
transparent resin 11a is a matrix of (i) a transparent resin antireflective transparent medium layer has a refractive index N 1 of the
中でも透明樹脂11aとしては紫外線硬化性であるアクリレート樹脂が好ましい。アクリレート樹脂としては、エポキシアクリレート、ウレタンアクリレート、ポリエステルアクリレート及びアクリル樹脂アクリレートがより好ましい。アクリレート樹脂は、(メタ)アクリレート類の単独重合体に限定されず、他の不飽和モノマーとの共重合体であってもよい。他の不飽和モノマーとして、例えばスチレンが挙げられる。 Among them, the transparent resin 11a is preferably an ultraviolet curable acrylate resin. As the acrylate resin, epoxy acrylate, urethane acrylate, polyester acrylate, and acrylic resin acrylate are more preferable. The acrylate resin is not limited to a homopolymer of (meth) acrylates, and may be a copolymer with another unsaturated monomer. Examples of other unsaturated monomers include styrene.
(ii) 透明中空微粒子
透明中空微粒子11bは壁が透明材料からなり、内部に空隙を有する。透明中空微粒子11bは、壁と内部空隙の屈折率の差が大きく、微小な粒径を有するので、光を散乱させる効果を有する。そのため反射防止用透明媒体層11及び110が透明中空微粒子11bを含有すると、光の散乱により反射像を散らすことができ、優れた防眩性が得られる。
(ii) Transparent hollow fine particles The transparent hollow fine particles 11b have a wall made of a transparent material and have voids inside. Since the transparent hollow fine particles 11b have a large difference in refractive index between the wall and the internal voids and have a minute particle size, they have an effect of scattering light. Therefore, when the antireflection transparent

The transparent hollow fine particles 11b are preferably spherical. The particle size distribution of the transparent hollow fine particles 11b is preferably in the range of 0.3 to 30 μm, and more preferably in the range of 0.4 to 20 μm. When the particle size distribution is less than 0.3 μm, the light scattering effect is small and the antiglare property is insufficient. On the other hand, if it exceeds 30 μm, the image will be distorted and the visibility will be lowered. Here, the particle size distribution was measured with a liquid particle counter [model name: KL-11A (used sensor: KS-65), manufactured by Rion Corporation]. The inner diameter (inner void diameter) of the transparent hollow fine particles 11b is preferably 0.5 to 0.9 times the outer diameter, and more preferably 0.7 to 0.8 times.
透明中空微粒子11bの内部空隙は、空気で満たされているのが好ましい。透明中空微粒子11bの内部空隙は、外部に連通していないのが好ましいが、透明樹脂マトリックス11aが実質的に侵入しない限り、微細孔を介して外部に連通していてもよい。 The internal voids of the transparent hollow fine particles 11b are preferably filled with air. The internal voids of the transparent hollow fine particles 11b are preferably not in communication with the outside, but may be in communication with the outside through fine holes as long as the transparent resin matrix 11a does not substantially enter.
透明中空微粒子11bは表面処理されたものであってもよい。表面処理剤として、例えば各種シランカップリング剤や、脂肪酸(例えばステアリン酸等)又はその誘導体等が挙げられる。透明中空セラミック微粒子11bは、酸処理されていてもよい。酸処理により、表面のナトリウム塩が除去されるので、透明樹脂マトリックス11aの変色や劣化を防止できる。 The transparent hollow fine particles 11b may be surface-treated. Examples of the surface treatment agent include various silane coupling agents, fatty acids (such as stearic acid), and derivatives thereof. The transparent hollow ceramic fine particles 11b may be acid-treated. Since the sodium salt on the surface is removed by the acid treatment, discoloration and deterioration of the transparent resin matrix 11a can be prevented.

[4] Method for Attaching Display Panel Protective Cover A method for attaching the protective cover of the present invention to the display panel will be described below, taking as an example the case of attaching to a liquid crystal module incorporated in a digital camera. As a mounting method, (1) an uncured transparent medium 11 ′ in which transparent hollow fine particles 11 b and a photopolymerization initiator are dispersed in an ultraviolet curable liquid transparent resin 11 a is placed in a
(1) First Method As shown in FIG. 4A, the
未硬化透明媒体11’は、紫外線硬化性樹脂11aに透明中空微粒子11b及び光重合開始剤を分散することにより調製する。未硬化透明媒体11’は、充填前に脱気して気泡を除去するのが好ましい。光重合開始剤としてはアセトフェノン類、ベンゾイン類、ベンゾフェノン類、チオキサントン類等の公知のものでよい。 The uncured transparent medium 11 'is prepared by dispersing the transparent hollow fine particles 11b and the photopolymerization initiator in the ultraviolet curable resin 11a. The uncured transparent medium 11 'is preferably deaerated before filling to remove bubbles. As the photopolymerization initiator, known ones such as acetophenones, benzoins, benzophenones, and thioxanthones may be used.
As shown in FIGS. 4 (c) and 5, the
必要に応じて、図6に示すように、ゴムパッキン40を介して供給管41を孔13に隙間なく挿入するとともに、ゴムパッキン40を介して排出管42を孔14に隙間なく挿入し、未硬化透明媒体11’を供給管41から圧入してもよい。必要に応じて排出管42を、真空ポンプ等の真空吸引手段に接続し、空間50内を排気しながら未硬化透明媒体11’を圧入してもよい。
If necessary, as shown in FIG. 6, the
After filling the
The
図7及び図8(d)に示すように、封止した孔13及び14の表面は環状暗色塗装層12と同じインクにより塗装するのが好ましい。
As shown in FIG. 7 and FIG. 8 (d), the surfaces of the sealed
(2) Second Method A transparent
第一の方法と同様にして、背面カバー3に予め開口部5を設けておき(図4(a)参照)、液晶モジュール2上に、これに近い順に、透明接着層111b、透明媒体フィルム110、透明接着層111a、及び透明基板10を積層すればよい(図3参照)。透明接着層111a及び111bは、透明媒体フィルム110に予め塗布しておくのが好ましい。
