Abstract
【解決手段】本発明は電気湿潤現象を利用した装置において、水30−89%、塩0.01−30重量%及び双極子モーメントを有する極性溶媒10−60重量%で構成される電解液を含む駆動特性が安定化された電気湿潤装置。

Description
本発明では電気湿潤装置の液体駆動時に不安定な震えや揺れ(unstable moving)問題を解決するため電解液に極性溶媒を添加して粘度を増加させることにより、電解液の駆動特性を安定化することであって、電気湿潤現象を利用した装置のうち代表的な液体レンズを中心に記述する。
[実施例]
[比較例]
上記製造された液体レンズの印加電圧がない場合(a)及び30Vの電圧を印加した場合の液体の駆動姿に対する干渉縞写真を撮影した。その結果を図5に示した。
Claims (5)
- 電気湿潤現象を利用した装置において、水30−89重量%、塩0.01−30重量%及び極性溶媒10−60重量%からなる電解液を含む駆動特性が安定化された電気湿潤装置。
- 前記電解液の粘度が3−50cPであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の駆動特性が安定化された電気湿潤装置。
- 絶縁液をさらに含み、前記電解液の粘度は3−20cPであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の駆動特性が安定化された電気湿潤装置。
- 前記極性溶媒は双極子モーメントを有するアルコール系列の極性溶媒であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の駆動特性が安定化された電気湿潤装置。
- 前記アルコール系列の極性溶媒はメタノール、エタノール、1−プロパノール、2−プロパノール、1,2−プロパンジオール、1,3−プロパンジオール、1,2,3−プロパントリオール、1−ブタノール、2−ブタノール、1,2−ブタンジオール、1,3−ブタンジオール、1,4−ブタンジオール、1−ペンタノール、1,5―ペンタンジオール、ヘキサノール、ヘプタノール及びオクタノールからなる群から選択された少なくとも一つの極性溶媒であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の駆動特性が安定化された電気湿潤装置。
