Claims (31)

  1. 波長分割マルチプレクサと、
    光信号を終端するように構成され、前記波長分割マルチプレクサに連係する光−電気信号変換器と、
    該光−電気信号変換器に連係する超広帯域通信装置と、
    を備えてなるシステム。
  2. 前記超広帯域通信装置は、超広帯域変調器を含む送受信機であり、該送受信機は少なくとも2GHzの帯域幅を有する請求項1に記載のシステム。
  3. 前記超広帯域通信装置が、受信機である請求項1に記載のシステム。
  4. 前記超広帯域通信装置が、送信機である請求項1に記載のシステム。
  5. 前記超広帯域通信装置に連係するアンテナをさらに含んでなる請求項1に記載のシステム。
  6. 前記波長分割マルチプレクサが、前記光−電気信号変換器に直接結合される請求項1に記載のシステム。
  7. 前記波長分割マルチプレクサへの光信号入力が、受動光ネットワークを介して伝送される請求項1に記載のシステム。
  8. 波長分割マルチプレクサと、
    波長分割マルチプレクサに結合された受動光ネットワークと、
    該受動光ネットワークに連係する超広帯域通信装置と、
    を備えてなるシステム。
  9. 前記超広帯域通信装置が、パルス位置変調を用いる請求項8に記載のシステム。
  10. 前記超広帯域通信装置が、前記光信号に作用する超広帯域変調技術を用いる請求項8に記載のシステム。
  11. 光信号から生成した信号を受信するための第1の入力と、
    該第1の入力に連係する超広帯域送受信機と、
    前記超広帯域送受信機に連係しかつ、無線信号が、複数の異なる信号受信箇所に到達するように位置づけられるアンテナと、
    を備えてなる通信システム。
  12. 前記複数の異なる信号受信箇所のうちの第1のものが第1の住宅内にあり、前記複数の異なる信号受信箇所のうちの第2のものが第2の住宅内にある請求項11に記載のシステム。
  13. 前記第2の住宅が、前記第1の住宅の近くにある請求項12に記載のシステム。
  14. 前記第1の住宅が土地境界線の第1の側によって画定された第1のロット上にあり、前記第2の住宅が土地境界線の第2の側によって画定された第2のロット上にある請求項13に記載のシステム。
  15. 地役権領域が、前記第1の住宅の土地境界線に隣接して存在しており、前記光信号が該地役権領域内に配置された光学機器によって伝送される請求項14に記載のシステム。
  16. 前記複数の異なる信号受信箇所が、前記複数の近隣住宅によって形成されたクラスタの中心に位置づけられており、当該通信システムが、該近隣住宅に供するための近隣ペデスタルを備えてなる請求項11に記載のシステム。
  17. アンテナと、
    該アンテナに連係し出力信号を生成する超広帯域送受信機と、
    前記出力信号を音声、映像およびデータ信号に変換するためのユーザインタフェースと、
    を含むユーザアクセス通信装置。
  18. 前記ユーザインタフェースが、音声インタフェース、およびデータインタフェース、音声/データ/映像信号シグナリングインタフェースおよび/または映像インタフェースを含む請求項17に記載のユーザアクセス通信装置。
  19. 無線超広帯域信号の通信方法において、
    超広帯域受信機で第1の無線信号を受信する段階と、
    該受信信号を光信号に変換する段階と、
    受動光ネットワークを介して該光信号の通信を行う段階と、
    を有してなる方法。
  20. 超広帯域送受信機で第2の無線信号を受信する段階と、
    該第2の無線信号を第2の光信号に変換する段階と、
    前記受動光ネットワークを介し前記第2の光信号の通信を行う段階と、
    をさらに有してなる請求項19に記載の方法。
  21. 前記光信号が、音声およびデータ情報を含む請求項19に記載の方法。
  22. 波長分割マルチプレクサに対し前記光信号の通信を行う段階をさらに含んでなる請求項19に記載の方法。
  23. 前記光信号が、受動光ファイバネットワークを介して伝送される請求項19に記載の方法。
  24. 中心金属部材を含む金属外装付きファイバケーブルを通して搬送されたエネルギーを受入れるように構成された電源入力と、
    該電源入力に連係する超広帯域送受信機と、
    を備えてなる通信装置。
  25. 1組の格子間ゲージ銅線対にて供給されるエネルギーを受入れるように構成された電源入力と、
    該電源入力に連係する超広帯域送受信機と、
    を備えてなる通信装置。
  26. 前記金属外装付きファイバケーブルが、複数の光ファイバを含む請求項24に記載の通信装置。
  27. 前記電源入力に結合された少なくとも1つのソーラーパネルをさらに含む請求項24に記載の通信装置。
  28. 電力網にて搬送された後、電源変圧器により変成されたエネルギーを受入れるように構成された電源入力と、
    該電源入力に連係する超広帯域送受信機と
    を備えてなる通信装置。
  29. 光学機器と、
    該光学機器からの光信号を伝送するための光ケーブルと、
    該光信号に連係する超広帯域送受信機と、
    該超広帯域送受信機に連係するアンテナと、
    を備えてなる通信アクセスセンタ。
  30. 無線信号が複数の信号受信箇所に到達するように前記アンテナが位置づけられる請求項29に記載の通信アクセスセンタ。
  31. 当該通信アクセスセンタが、ユーザ共同体に供する共同体アクセスセンタである請求項29に記載の通信アクセスセンタ。
