Abstract
【解決手段】 DPF4の破損や目詰まりによりDPF4の前後差圧が大きく低下したり上昇することを利用してDPF4の異常の有無を判定する排気浄化装置において、DPF4の前後差圧に基づいて演算されたPM堆積量と、エンジン運転状態から知られるPM排出量の積算により算出されたPM堆積量との間に大きな不整合が生じたらDPF4の異常と判定する。

Description
パティキュレートフィルタにおける排気微粒子の堆積量を演算する堆積量演算手段として、パティキュレートフィルタの前後差圧に基づいて堆積量を演算する第1の堆積量演算手段と、前記内燃機関本体の運転状態に基づいて内燃機関本体からの単位時間当たりの排気微粒子の排出量を演算し、該排出量を積算することにより堆積量を演算する第2の堆積量演算手段との2種類の堆積量演算手段を具備し、
かつ、前記2種類の堆積量演算手段により演算された堆積量の整合状態に基づいてパティキュレートフィルタにおける排ガスの流通の異常の有無を判定する異常判定手段を具備する構成とする。
前記第2の堆積量演算手段は、前記パティキュレートフィルタの再生の要否の判定に用いる堆積量演算手段が前記第1の堆積量演算手段から切替る直前に該第1の堆積量演算手段により演算された堆積量に、前記排出量を積算することにより現在の堆積量を求める演算手段とし、
前記異常判定手段は、前記整合状態を、前記第2の堆積量演算手段から第1の堆積量演算手段に切替る直前直後に演算された堆積量の差分により表現し、該堆積量差分が予め設定した基準の範囲から外れるとき、前記整合状態が不整合でありパティキュレートフィルタが異常であると判ずる構成とする。
前記異常判定手段は、前記上側代表値および前記下側代表値により表される前記演算差分の範囲を前記基準の範囲とする。

Claims (3)
- 内燃機関本体から排出される排ガス中の排気微粒子を捕集するパティキュレートフィルタを有し、該パティキュレートフィルタの再生の要否を判断すべく、パティキュレートフィルタに捕集されて堆積する排気微粒子の堆積量を演算する堆積量演算手段を設けて、演算された堆積量に基づいて前記パティキュレートフィルタの再生の要否を判断するようにした内燃機関の排気浄化装置において、
パティキュレートフィルタにおける排気微粒子の堆積量を演算する堆積量演算手段として、パティキュレートフィルタの前後差圧に基づいて堆積量を演算する第1の堆積量演算手段と、前記内燃機関本体の運転状態に基づいて内燃機関本体からの単位時間当たりの排気微粒子の排出量を演算し、該排出量を積算することにより堆積量を演算する第2の堆積量演算手段との2種類の堆積量演算手段を具備し、
かつ、前記2種類の堆積量演算手段により演算された堆積量の整合状態に基づいてパティキュレートフィルタにおける排ガスの流通の異常の有無を判定する異常判定手段を具備することを特徴とする内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 請求項1記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置において、前記内燃機関本体の運転状態に基づいて前記2種類の堆積量演算手段のうち、前記パティキュレートフィルタの再生の要否の判定に用いる堆積量演算手段を選択する選択手段を具備せしめ、
前記第2の堆積量演算手段は、前記パティキュレートフィルタの再生の要否の判定に用いる堆積量演算手段が前記第1の堆積量演算手段から切替る直前に該第1の堆積量演算手段により演算された堆積量に、前記排出量を積算することにより現在の堆積量を求める演算手段とし、
前記異常判定手段は、前記整合状態を、前記第2の堆積量演算手段から第1の堆積量演算手段に切替る直前直後に演算された堆積量の差分により表現し、該堆積量差分が予め設定した基準の範囲から外れるとき、前記整合状態が不整合でありパティキュレートフィルタが異常であると判ずる内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 請求項2記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置において、予め設定した期間内に前記差分について差分値ごとの出現頻度を記憶して、記憶された前記出現頻度に基づいて前記期間内の差分の分布を表す上側代表値と下側代表値とを演算する差分分布演算手段を具備せしめ、
前記異常判定手段は、前記上側代表値および前記下側代表値により表される前記演算差分の範囲を前記基準の範囲とする内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
