Claims (2)
- 内燃機関の排気系に備えられたパティキュレートフィルタと、
内燃機関の排気流量に相関のある信号を検出する排気流量検出手段と、
前記パティキュレートフィルタの前後差圧を検出する差圧検出手段と、
前記内燃機関の過渡時において、前記排気流量に相関のある信号の変化量と前記差圧の変化量との比を第1のしきい値と比較して、前記パティキュレートフィルタの故障を判定し、前記排気流量に相関のある信号の変化量と前記差圧の変化量との比を第2のしきい値と比較して、前記パティキュレートフィルタ中のパティキュレートが過堆積であると判定する状態判定手段とを有し、
前記第1のしきい値は、前記パティキュレートフィルタ中のパティキュレートの堆積量に応じて設定され、前記第2のしきい値は、前記パティキュレートフィルタ中のアッシュの残留量に応じて設定される、内燃機関のパティキュレートフィルタの状態検知装置。 - 前記排気流量に相関のある信号は、前記内燃機関の吸気管内圧力である、請求項1に記載のパティキュレートフィルタの状態検知装置。
