Abstract
【解決手段】 この管継手10は、一方の管端に取付けられる略管状のソケット11と、他方の管端に取付けられ、ソケットに挿入される略管状のプラグ12と、このプラグをソケットから抜け止めする抜け止め手段13と、ソケットの内周に配置されるシールリング14と、ソケットの内周に配置されてシールリングの移動を阻止する押えリング15とを備えている。ソケット内周の押えリング取付け位置には、突部が形成されており、押えリングは、この突部が嵌合する切欠き部46又は凹部と、プラグ挿入口方向に突出する突出部47とを有し、プラグは、抜け止め手段が係合する環状突部33と、押えリングの突出部に係合するように環状突部に設けられた凹部又は平坦部とを有している。

Description
図6に示すように、ソケット11の管接続部16には、例えば、ラジエータ、ヒーターユニット、燃料供給系等の配管に接続されたホース又はチューブ51が挿入され、ホースバンド52で締め付けられて固定されている。一方、プラグ12の管接続部31には、図示しない接続すべき他方のホース又はチューブが挿入され、同様に固定されている。但し、前述したように、管接続部31は、ラジエータ、ヒーターユニット等の機器に直接取付けられた管であってもよい。

Claims (5)
- 一方の管端に取付けられる略管状のソケットと、他方の管端に取付けられ、前記ソケットに挿入される略管状のプラグと、このプラグを前記ソケットから抜け止めする抜け止め手段と、前記ソケットの内周に配置されて前記ソケット内周と前記プラグ外周とをシールするシールリングと、前記ソケットの内周に配置されて前記シールリングの移動を阻止する押えリングとを備えた管継手において、前記ソケット内周と前記押えリングとの間には回転規制手段が設けられ、前記押えリングは、前記プラグ挿入口方向に突出する突出部を有し、前記プラグは、前記抜け止め手段が係合する環状突部と、前記押えリングの突出部に係合するように前記環状突部に設けられた凹部又は平坦部とを有することを特徴とする管継手。
- 前記回転規制手段は、前記ソケット内周の前記押えリング取付け位置に形成された突部と、前記押えリングに設けられた、前記突部が嵌合する切欠き部又は凹部とからなる請求項1記載の管継手。
- 前記回転規制手段は、前記ソケットの内周に、軸方向に沿って前記ソケットの開口部まで達するように形成した溝と、この溝に挿入されるように前記押えリング外周に設けた突部とからなる請求項1記載の管継手。
- 前記押えリング外周に設けた突部が、前記プラグ挿入口方向に突出して前記突出部を兼ねており、この突出部が前記プラグの環状突部に設けられた凹部又は平坦部に係合する請求項3記載の管継手。
- 前記プラグの環状突部は、挿入方向に向かって縮径するテーパ状をなし、この環状突部に軸方向から見てV字状の凹部が形成されている請求項1〜4のいずれか1つに記載の管継手。
