Abstract
【解決手段】 排気管13内にて排気の流れ方向Aと略平行に下流側に向けて延びる噴射ノズル14の先端部(18)の排気下流側端部の外周面に設けられたリング状の突条部分19に、該噴射ノズル14の軸心から外方に向けて穿設された噴射孔20を設け、この噴射孔20により還元剤を還元触媒の排気上流側に噴出する。この場合、上記噴射孔20は、先端部(18)の外周面に設けられたリング状の突条部分19に形成されており、噴射ノズル14の広い外周面上に直接開口していないので、噴射が終了した際に還元剤が噴射孔20周辺の狭い領域に付着して残留することがないか、又は残留量が少なくなる。このことから、噴射ノズル14の噴射孔20が目詰まりするのを防止してNOxの浄化処理の効率を向上することができる。

Description
図1は本発明によるエンジンの排気浄化装置の実施形態を示す概念図である。この排気浄化装置は、移動車両搭載のディーゼルエンジン、ガソリンエンジン等から排出されるNOxを、還元剤を用いて還元除去するものである。ガソリンあるいは軽油を燃料とするエンジン10の排気は、排気マニフォ−ルド11からNOxの還元触媒12が配設された排気管13を経由して大気中に排出される。詳細には、排気通路としての排気管13には排気上流側から順に、一酸化窒素(NO)の酸化触媒、NOxの還元触媒、スリップ式アンモニア酸化触媒の3つの触媒が配設され、その前後に温度センサ、酸素センサ等が配設されて排気系が構成されるが、細部の構成は図示していない。

Claims (4)
- エンジンの排気系に配設され、排気中の窒素酸化物を還元剤により還元浄化する還元触媒と、
前記排気系の排気通路内にて排気の流れ方向と略平行に下流側に向けて延びる噴射ノズルの先端部を有し、前記還元剤を前記還元触媒の排気上流側に供給する還元剤供給手段と、
を備えたエンジンの排気浄化装置であって、
前記噴射ノズルの先端部の排気下流側端部において、排気下流側端面を閉塞すると共に、外周面にリング状の突条を設け、この突条部分に噴射ノズルの軸心から外方に向けて前記還元剤を噴出する噴射孔を設けたことを特徴とするエンジンの排気浄化装置。 - 前記噴射孔は、前記噴射ノズルの先端部の軸心から外方に向けて放射状に複数個穿設されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエンジンの排気浄化装置。
- 前記リング状の突条を外周面に向けて先細り形状に形成したことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のエンジンの排気浄化装置。
- 前記噴射孔は、排気の流れ方向に対して下流側に斜め方向に傾斜して穿設されたことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のエンジンの排気浄化装置。
