TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a helmet storing structure for storing a helmet below a saddle riding seat in a saddle riding type vehicle such as a scooter type motorcycle.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In particular, there is a straddle-type vehicle in which a helmet is stored below a saddle-riding seat (met storage type), such as a scooter-type motorcycle.
[0003]
This straddle-type vehicle of the MET storage type can be roughly classified into (1) an inverted placement type in which a helmet is stored in an inverted state (opening portion is upward), and (2) a helmet is stored in an upright state (opening portion is downward). There are two types of erect type (for example, see

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in a saddle-ride type vehicle of an upside-down type, if the carburetor constituting the intake system is arranged below the seat, the helmet storage space and the intake system are arranged side by side in the seat height direction, and the seat height increases. , Getting on and getting off the vehicle may be deteriorated.
[0008]
Therefore, in a saddle type vehicle of an upside-down type, the carburetor must be arranged in a space excluding a space under the seat (space under the seat), for example, on one side of the space under the seat, and the degree of freedom of carburetor arrangement is reduced. Was the result. For this reason, it has been difficult to mount a four-valve engine that requires a vertical carburetor structure.
[0009]
Further, when the carburetor is arranged on one side or the like with respect to the space under the seat, there is a possibility that the downsizing of the entire vehicle (particularly, in the vehicle width direction) may be hindered.
[0010]
Furthermore, in an upright type saddle-ride type vehicle, when the air cleaner is laid out on one side of the rear part of the vehicle body, for example, in an upper part of a belt chamber, and the carburetor is arranged in a space below the seat, a joint for connecting the carburetor and the air cleaner is provided. The pipe extends from the space under the seat to the upper part of the belt chamber.
[0011]
For this reason, the carburetor itself increases the seat height, and in the case of a saddle-ride type vehicle with a large displacement, the intake volume inevitably increases and the joint diameter of the joint pipe increases, and the seat height increases by the joint diameter. Has further increased, and there has been a risk that the dismountability and the handling of the vehicle may deteriorate.
[0012]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and has a helmet storage structure for a saddle-ride type vehicle that enables a part of an intake system such as a carburetor to be arranged in a space under a seat while keeping a seat height low. Its purpose is to provide.
[0013]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to the present invention, there is provided a helmet storing structure for a saddle-riding type vehicle for storing a helmet below a saddle-riding seat according to the present invention. A storage box that can be stored in an upright state is disposed below the seat, and the bottom surface of the storage box is inclined upward from one of the left and right sides to the other side, and at least the central portion of the bottom surface is raised in a convex shape. Thus, at least a part of an arrangement space of an intake system in the saddle type vehicle is formed below the raised central portion and below the upwardly inclined side end.
[0014]
In the invention described in
[0015]
That is, the places where the respective arrangement spaces are formed are below the raised portion of the bottom surface of the box and below the up-sloping side end of the bottom surface, and have almost no influence on the height of the helmet storage box. is not.
[0016]
For this reason, even if at least a part of the intake system is arranged in the above-mentioned arrangement space, the height of the helmet storage box and the seat height are hardly affected, and the increase in the seat height is avoided while the intake system is increased. Can be arranged below the saddle riding seat.
[0017]
In particular, according to the invention as set forth in claim 2, a helmet relief portion which is curved in a convex shape along the outer periphery of the helmet is formed with respect to the helmet contact portion on one of the left and right side surfaces.
[0018]
According to the invention described in claim 2, when the helmet is stored in the helmet storage box, the helmet is inclined to the one of the left and right side surfaces due to the inclination of the bottom surface, and abuts on the one of the left and right side surfaces. .
[0019]
At this time, since the helmet relief portion curved in a convex shape along the outer periphery of the helmet is formed in the contact portion, the helmet is inserted into the helmet box with its outer periphery engaged with the helmet relief portion. Is stored.
[0020]
As a result, even when the helmet is stored in the helmet storage box in an inclined state, the helmet can be stably stored in the inclined arrangement state without substantially increasing the lateral width of the entire helmet storage box.
[0021]
In particular, according to the third aspect of the invention, the intake system includes a carburetor, and at least the carburetor is arranged in the arrangement space below the raised central portion as a part of the intake system.
[0022]
According to the third aspect of the present invention, even when the carburetor, which is at least a part of the intake system, is disposed in the space below the raised central portion on the bottom surface of the storage box, the carburetor does not cover the height of the helmet storage box and the seat height. Since there is almost no effect, the carburetor can be arranged below the saddle riding seat while avoiding an increase in the seat height.
[0023]
Furthermore, according to the invention described in claim 4, the intake system is connected to the carburetor and is connected to the carburetor, and extends diagonally rearward from the carburetor toward the other left or right side surface of the storage box. An air cleaner that supplies air to the carburetor via a joint, wherein the joint is arranged as a part of the intake system over the arrangement space below the raised central part and below the up-slope part, The air cleaner is disposed on a side of the rear part of the saddle-ride type vehicle corresponding to the other left and right side of the storage box, and the joint is connected to the air cleaner.
[0024]
In the invention described in claim 4, the joint portion for communicating and connecting the carburetor and the air cleaner is disposed over the respective arrangement spaces below the raised central portion and below the uphill portion, and the carburetor and the joint portion are arranged below the seat. Has almost no effect on the seat height.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the bottom surface of the storage box is inclined upward from one of the left and right sides to the other side, and at least the central portion of the bottom surface is raised in a convex shape, and the storage box is raised. Since at least a part of the space for the intake system such as the carburetor is formed below the center part and below the end part on the ascending side, one part of the intake system such as the carburetor is arranged with respect to the space below the saddle riding seat. By arranging the portions, the influence on the seat height can be avoided.
[0061]
As a result, while maintaining a low seat height, a part of the intake system is disposed below the normal service seat, thereby making it possible to reduce the size of the entire saddle-ride type vehicle (particularly, in the vehicle width direction). It is possible to provide a straddle-type vehicle that is excellent in getting-off performance and vehicle handling.
