- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 髄内キャビティを有する骨折部を処置するための医療処置装置において、 骨折部を処置するための骨固定具を備え、この骨固定具は減少直径と拡大直径と を有し、前記骨固定具は前記減少直径から前記拡大直径まで寸法増大しうること を特徴とする医療処置装置。 2. 前記減少直径は、前記固定具を骨の髄質よりも直径が小さい穴を介して骨 中へ挿入しうるよう充分小さい請求の範囲第1項に記載の医療処置装置。 3. 前記拡大直径は、この拡大直径が骨の髄内キャビティの実質的に全幅にわ たり延びるよう充分大である請求の範囲第1項に記載の医療処置装置。 4. 前記減少直径は、前記固定具を注射器を介し骨中へ挿入しうるよう充分小 さい請求の範囲第2項に記載の医療処置装置。 5. 幅を持った髄内キャビティを有する骨折部を処置するための医療処置装置 において、減少直径と拡大直径とを有する骨固定具を備え; 前記骨固定具は前記減少直径から前記拡大直径まで寸法増大することができ; 前記減少直径は前記固定具を骨髄質より直径が小さい穴を介し骨中へ挿入しうる よう充分小さく、さらに前記拡大直径は前記固定具が骨の髄内キャビティの実質 的に全幅にわたり延びるよう充分大であることを特徴とする医療処置装置。 6. 前記固定具が手、足脚もしくは腕の骨折部を処置するための寸法である請 求の範囲第5項に記載の医療処置装置。 7. 前記固定具が弁をさらに備える請求の範囲第1項に記載の医療処置装置。 8. 前記固定具が長手バーを備える請求の範囲第1項に記載の医療処置装置。 9. 前記固定具が拡大前に湾曲表面を備え、前記表面を湾曲させて一連の接続 球状セクションを形成する請求の範囲第8項に記載の医療処置装置。 10. 前記固定具が、拡大後に実質的にチューブ形状である請求の範囲第5項 に記載の医療処置装置。 11. 前記固定具が、前記拡大に際し骨キャビティの内表面および形状に調整 されて当接するよう拡大する請求の範囲第5項に記載の医療処置装置。 12. 前記固定具が、前記減少直径から前記拡大直径まで増大する際に少なく とも40%だけ直径増大する請求の範囲第5項に記載の医療処置装置。 13. 前記固定具が自己拡大性材料からなる請求の範囲第5項に記載の医療処 置装置。 14. 前記固定具が弾性材料からなる請求の範囲第5項に記載の医療処置装置 。 15. 前記固定具が超弾性材料からなる請求の範囲第5項に記載の医療処置装 置。 16. 前記固定具が形状記憶金属からなる請求の範囲第5項に記載の医療処置 装置。 17. 前記固定具がニチノール、チタニウムもしくはポリマーからなる請求の 範囲第5項に記載の医療処置装置。 18. 前記固定具が、前記減少直径にて応力誘発マルテンサイトからなる請求 の範囲第5項に記載の医療処置装置。 19. 前記固定具が、前記減少直径にて応力誘発マルテンサイトからなると共 に前記拡大直径にてオーステナイトからなる請求の範囲第5項に記載の医療処置 装置。 20. 前記固定具が前記自己拡大性材料の少なくとも1枚のシートからなる請 求の範囲第12項に記載の医療処置装置。 21. 前記固定具が前記自己拡大性材料の少なくとも2枚のシートからなる請 求の範囲第12項に記載の医療処置装置。 22. 前記固定具が前記減少直径にて一般に円筒状巻回された螺旋構造体から なる請求の範囲第20項に記載の医療処置装置。 23. 螺旋構造体が、前記減少直径から前記拡大直径まで拡大する際に少なく とも部分的に巻き戻る請求の範囲第22項に記載の医療処置装置。 24. 前記シートが少なくとも1個の屈曲エッジからなる請求の範囲第20項 に記載の医療処置装置。 25. 前記シートが外周面と少なくとも1個の屈曲エッジとを備え、前記屈曲 エッジが前記外周面から半径方向に突出する請求の範囲第20項に記載の医療処 置装置。 26. 前記シートが外周面と少なくとも2個の屈曲エッジとを備え、前記屈曲 エッジが前記外周面から半径方向に突出する請求の範囲第20項に記載の医療処 置装置。 27. 前記屈曲エッジが、前記シートの外周面に対し異なる角度で屈曲する請 求の範囲第26項に記載の医療処置装置。 28. ピンを備える保持装置が前記第1減少直径に前記装置を保持する請求の 範囲第5項に記載の医療処置装置。 29. 前記固定具が、熱を加えると前記減少直径から前記拡大直径まで拡大す る請求の範囲第5項に記載の医療処置装置。 30. 前記固定具が前記拡大直径にて円筒状であると共に複数の長手リブと実 質的に円弧状の外周ストラットとを備え、前記リブが前記ストラットにより相互 接続される請求の範囲第5項に記載の医療処置装置。 31. 前記固定具が中心軸線を備え、前記固定具が前記減少直径にある際に前 記ストラットが前記中心軸線の方向へ中点の周囲で内方向に屈曲する請求の範囲 第30項に記載の医療処置装置。 32. 前記固定具が外周壁部を備え、前記固定具が前記外周壁部に複数の開口 部を備える請求の範囲第30項に記載の医療処置装置。 33. 前記固定具が中心長手軸線の周囲で段階的に食い違った複数のリーフを 備え、前記リーフのそれぞれが内側端部と外側端部とを有し、前記内側端部のそ れぞれが前記中心長手軸線から外方向に延びる請求の範囲第5項に記載の医療処 置装置。 34. 前記外側端部が半径方向内方に湾曲する請求の範囲第33項に記載の医 療処置装置。 35. 前記固定具が前記減少直径に維持される際に、前記固定具が実質的にチ ューブ形状からなる請求の範囲第34項に記載の医療処置装置。 36. 前記リーフの前記内側端部に接触する着脱自在なピンの形状の保持装置 をさらに備えて、前記固定具を前記減少直径に維持する請求の範囲 第35項に記載の医療処置装置。 37. 髄内ネイルを備え、前記髄内ネイルが膨脹性金属バルーンからなる医療 処置装置。 38. 前記膨脹性金属バルーンが、骨髄質より小さい直径である初期減少直径 の寸法からなる請求の範囲第42項に記載の医療処置装置。 39. 前記膨脹性金属バルーンが前記初期減少直径の寸法まで屈曲される請求 の範囲第37項に記載の医療処置装置。 40. 髄内キャビティを有する骨折部を処置するための医療処置装置において 、髄内固定具を備え、前記固定具が少なくとも第1セグメントと第2セグメント とからなり、前記固定具の前記セグメントが減少直径を有すると共に前記減少直 径から拡大直径まで寸法拡大することができ、さらに前記第2セグメントが前記 拡大直径まで拡大するのを防止する抑制手段を設けたことを特徴とする医療処置 装置。 41. 前記抑制手段が、前記第2セグメントの拡大を抑制するリングからなる 請求の範囲第40項に記載の医療処置装置。 42. 前記拡大直径は、前記固定具が骨の髄内キャビティの実質的に全幅にわ たり延びるよう充分大である請求の範囲第40項に記載の医療処置装置。 43. 髄内キャビティを有する骨折部を処置するための医療処置装置において 、拡大性髄内固定具を備え、前記固定具が内腔部を備え、前記内腔部が拡大しう る充填材で少なくとも部分的に満たされ、前記充填材が外部刺激に呼応してその 容積もしくは剛性を変化しうることを特徴とする医療処置装置。 44. 前記外部刺激が磁場、電場および放射線よりなる群から選択される請求 の範囲第43項に記載の医療処置装置。 45. 前記外部刺激が温度である請求の範囲第43項に記載の医療処置装置。 46. 前記充填材が流動学的材料である請求の範囲第43項に記載の医療処置 装置。 47. 前記充填材が高分子電解質材料である請求の範囲第43項に記載の医療 処置装置。 48. 髄内キャビティを有する骨折部を処置するための医療処置装置において 、髄内固定具を備え、前記固定具が2枚の介在材料シートで構成され、前記シー トが骨折部に挿入すべく円筒形状まで最初に互いに緊密巻回されることを特徴と する医療処置装置。 49. 骨を処置するための医療処置システムにおいて、減少直径および拡大直 径を有する骨固定具と、 骨中へ前記骨固定具を挿入するためのカニューレとを備え、前記カニューレは内 腔部を備え、前記骨固定具はこの骨固定具を前記カニューレの使用により前記骨 中へ挿入しうるよう前記減少直径にて充分小さい寸法であることを特徴とする医 療処置システム。 50. 脊椎処理のための医療処置装置において、椎間骨スペーサを備え、前記 スペーサが第1の減少寸法と第2の拡大寸法とを有することを特徴とする医療処 置装置。 51. 前記骨スペーサが、そこに骨成長させうる細孔部を備える請求の範囲第 50項に記載の医療処置装置。 52. 前記骨スペーサが、脊椎骨の表面に侵入する突出部を備える請求の範囲 第50項に記載の医療処置装置。 53. 前記椎間骨スペーサが、このスペーサの圧縮を阻止する固定メカニズム をさらに備える請求の範囲第52項に記載の医療処置装置。 54. 椎間板人工器具を備え、前記人工器具が膨脹性バルーンからなることを 特徴とする脊椎処置のための医療処置装置。 55. 前記バルーンがトロイド状である請求の範囲第54項に記載の医療処置 装置。 56. 全バルーンが薄い金属壁部からなる請求の範囲第54項に記載の医療処 置装置。 57. 髄内キャビティを有する骨折部を処置するための医療処置装置において 、自己拡大性髄内固定具を備え、前記固定具は形状記憶金属と複数の長手リブと からなることを特徴とする医療処置装置。 58. 前記固定具が、肉薄セクションにより分離された4個の球状セクション からなる外周壁部である請求の範囲第8項に記載の医療処置装置。 59. 前記固定具が前記長手バーの少なくとも2個を備える請求の範囲第8項 に記載の医療処置装置。 60. 前駆固定具が、前記2つの長手バーの間に少なくとも1個のヘアピンル ープを備える請求の範囲第59項に記載の医療処置装置。 61. 前記固定具が4個の長手バーと4個のヘアピンループとを備える請求の 範囲第60項に記載の医療処置装置。
