[Also in Divisions B8 and F4] The crab 1 of a crane runs by means of wheels 2 on a cable-way comprising at least two supporting cables 3 secured between natural or artificial abutments. At intervals along the cable-way two at least of the support cables 3 are interconnected by assemblies 4, 5 which provide mounting means for electrical fittings such as lights 6 and power lines 8, 10, over which the crab 1 can pass. The crab is moved by a haulage cable attached to it at each side and passing over wheels at each abutment while the lifting hook is attached between pulleys 15, 17 to a loop of a cable attached at either end to the abutments.
