Abstract

780,863. Agricultural implements. LEGG, B. J. Sept. 15, 1955 [Nov. 2, 1954], No. 31599/54. Class 6(1). [Also in Group XXI] An agricultural implement comprises a frame B to which implements are attached, the frame being pivotally connected to a coupling frame A attached to a tractor. As shown, pins 8a and lugs 5 are provided on the frame A for attachment to a three point linkage in the tractor. The frame B may be attached to any two of a number of holes 2 on the frame A by means of pins and implements may be connected directly to a member 3 in the frame A. The frame B may be provided with an adjustable caster wheel at the rear and as shown a scraper blade 17 is attached by means of slots 7. Tines may be mounted on the bars 10 or alternatively 140 disc ploughs may be fitted to the frame B and interconnected so that the discs of one run in line with the direction of motion while the other is in the working position. The frame B may be attached to the frame A by means of a longitudinal pivot so that the frame B may rock transversely. Tines may be mounted on transverse bars which are adjustably and pivotally mounted on the frame B and the frame A may be connected to the frame B by chains or links.
