799,152. Ladders. AERO CONTROLS, Ltd. March 27, 1857 [May 16, 1956; Aug. 1, 1956], Nos. 15242/56 and 23735/56. Class 20(2) A ladder for use with a ship alongside a quay or platforms for securing aircraft, coinprises two or more relatively slidable parts 1, 2, 3 having sliding rungs 5, connected by flexible, jointed or slotted links 6, which as the ladder is collapsed close down on one another beginning with the lowest rung. In Fig: 1; the ladder sides are telescoping tubes 1, 2, 3 and the rungs 4 on the top, outermost tube 1 are fixed. In the modification of Fig. 4, the rungs 5b slide on a single central telescoping oval section rung support 1a and only the top rung or all those on the top, outermost section of the support are fixed.
