797,312. Link belts. REIMERS, W. Feb. 9, 1956 [Feb. 18, 1955], No. 4056/56. Class 80 (1). In a link belt of the type described in Specification 686,714 for use with V-pulleys the links 1 are made in one piece with a central body 2 and a plurality of ears 3 for interengaging with the ears of the adjacent links and coupling by pins 5. Cylindrical surfaces 8 are provided for supporting the pressure rings 9 which may each be located by one or more spring rings 10. The link pins 5 may be replaced by pairs of rocking pins. The pressure rings serve also for retaining the link pins in position. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 686,714.
