Class 103(vi) To allow movement in a longitudinal vertical plane whilst substantially preventing movement in a horizontal plane an axle box 2 is pivoted to a truck frame 8 by one or more pivoted links 6. The pin 4 to which the outer ends of the links 6 are pivoted is conveniently carried by an extension 3 of the axle box cover 1, although separate pins secured to the axle box 2 may be provided. Wear plates 13, 14 are provided on the contacting surfaces of the brackets 7, carrying the inner pivot pins 9 and the axle box 2. Resilient bushings may be provided around the pivot pins.
