The arm 8 of a load carrier is connected to an overhead trolley, having two rollers 1 on an axle 2 and a depending plate 3 between the rollers, by means of a ball and socket 6, 4, the ball 6 being provided on the upper end of a shaft 7 screwed into the carrier arm and secured therein by a pin 9 whilst the socket 4, in the form of a casing, is closed by a cover 5. Both the casing and cover are welded to the plate 3. Specification 741,830 is referred to.
