Abstract
660,601. Transparency holders. HUNTERPENROSE, Ltd. Nov. 3, 1949 [Nov. 3, 1948], No. 28597/48. Class 98 (i). In a transparency holder which comprises a ring mounting within which an annular member is set for rotary adjustment relative thereto, a base frame adjustable across the annular member in one direction and a carrier frame for the transparency slidable over the base frame in an orthogonal direction, the annular member has a lug which overlies the ring mounting and the ring mounting is apertured at intervals for the reception of a stop carried by said lug. The transparency holder shown in Fig. 1 forms part of a camera attachment which is described and claimed in Specification 660,600 and includes a hollow arm 1, which is slotted at 11 and has spaced parallel flats 12 thereon supporting rollers 14 carried by a block 13 to which is attached a ring mounting 35 provided with a rebate in which an annular member 37 is seated for rotational adjustment by screws 38 which thread into the ring 35 and the heads of which overlap the member 37. Seated in tapped holes in member 37 are the threaded ends of pins 43, which pass through a frame 39 and the shanks of which are encircled by springs so as to space the frame 39 from the annular member 37. The heads 41 of screws carried by frame 39 hold therein a base frame 40, which is adjustable in one direction over the frame 39 by a pin and boss arrangement 45, 44. Frame 40 supports a frame 46 carrying a transparency and a glass plate 51 by means of studs 47, the frame 46 being adjustable in a direction at right-angles to the direction of movement of the base frame 40 by a pin and boss arrangement 49, 48. The carrier frame 46 carries spring-loaded studs for engagement with the sides of the glass plate 51. A lug 53 is carried by the annular member 37 and is provided with a spring stop 54 which, on rotation of member 37, is engageable with any one of several apertures 55 in the,ring mounting 35.
