Abstract

619,608. Paper bags. BIBBY & BARON, Ltd., and BARON, A. J. Dec. 16, 1946, No. 36988 [Class 94 (ii)] In the production of satchel or nose type bags, the strip of paper e is pasted on areas such as a, b, c which, when the bag is folded, come to the insides of the two triangular wing-like parts f, g at the bag bottom so that the two plies in each wing are stuck together. The faces of the triangles f, g are afterwards secured by adhesive h arranged as shown, or by triangular-shaped areas and strips on each side of the bag joint. The adhesive may be of a dry type which seals under pressure or heat application, or ordinary adhesive may be used.
