Abstract
608,800. Rotary pumps. SCHIANDER, T. March 1, 1946, No. 6348. Convention date, Nov. 7, 1939. [Class 110 (ii)] The pump has vanes 3 pivoted to a rotor 2 which bear against the bore of the working- chamber by means of centrifugal force acting on weights 9 and springs 7. The angle a as shown causes the weights to act to relieve the pressure of the vane tips on the casing, during part of their travel. The rotor may rotate in either direction of motion.
