495,008. Rotary compressors. KLEIN, SCHANZLIN, & BECKER AKT. - GES. March 15, 1938, No. 7985. Convention date, March 15, 1937. [Class 110 (ii)] A compressor of the eccentric rotor and sliding vane type has a number of rotating rings, which take up the centrifugal force of the vanes, at each end of the rotor 9. Rings 2 have radial clearances between them and the casing 1, but rings 3 bear on the casing. Rings 3 may be supported by ribs projecting inwards from the casing. Rings 2 may have short vanes 7, and pressure-relieving openings 8.
