Abstract

A cleansing material suitable for toilet use comprises towelling, cotton wool, or other textile material impregnated with a mixture of sodium metasilicate, water, glycerine, and either sulphonated castor oil neutralised with sodium carbonate or sunflower seed oil. A pleasant-smelling disinfectant such as lysol or any suitable aromatic oil may be added to the mixture used for impregnating the textile material. Specifications 460,543 and 570,852 are referred to.
