Abstract

560,222. Moulds for concrete blocks. OBO CONSTRUCTION CO., Ltd., and OATLEY, A. E. A. Aug. 23, 1943, No. 13734. [Class 87 (ii)] A mould for casting channel-shaped concrete blocks has three sides connected by hinges 26 and a fourth side 28 carrying a core with hinged sides 30 which are drawn inwards to remove the core by a rod 36 attached to the inner side which consists of boards 32 hinged together and to the sides 30. The sides 24 of the mould are secured by hooks 38. A lid holds the core in its expanded position. Bevelled bars secured to the sides of the core form dovetail grooves 23 in the block.
