Class 20 (2) A shuttering unit for casting concrete comprising a lining 10 adapted to engage the concrete and a cellular backing formed of interfitting boards 14, 15 at right angles, is provided along the outer edges with bolt holes 9 for joining the units together. Shuttering units for forming opposite sides of a wall mould are connected by ties comprising rods passing through cardboard tubes with wood blocks at each end in the moulding space and through the shuttering and walings exending over the outside of the shuttering.
