[Class 25] A wind-directed cowl fitted on the top a cyliridrical casing A secured to a chimney stack consists of a spherical body D open at the top,and bottom and having an aperture F at the side opposite the wind vane H. The air entering the aperture F is directed upwards by a baffle G to induce a draught through the cowl. The body D turns on a spindle C secured to a cross bar B on the casing A.
