Abstract

499,301. Spray carburetters. MUZZOLON, A. April 15, 1937, No. 10795. [Class 7 (iii)] A carburetter is formed in two parts, one part a, containing an air inlet d and a Venturi c, and the other part b, containing two nozzles u, s, connected to separate float chambers, one for heavy and the other for light fuel. The discharge end of the nozzle u supplying heavy fuel is located at a less restricted part of the Venturi than that of the nozzle s supplying light fuel thereby enabling the nozzles s, u to function in succession. The float chamber g also supplies an idling passage p having an air inlet controlled by a valve r. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to U.S.A. Specification 1,944,068.
