467,124. Fuel injectors. DECKEL, F., (trading as DECKEL PRAZISIONSMECHANIK UND MASCHINENBAU, F.). April 3, 1936, Nos. 9912 and 9913. Convention dates, May 27, 1935 and Aug. 10, 1935. [A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Oct. 14, 1936.] [Class 7 (iii)] In a fuel injector in which fuel is sprayed through a perforated disc 4, a tubular member 6 abuts against the disc and supports a channelled plug 5 so that a clearance is left between the face of the plug and the disc. The fuel enters through a bore in a union 1, which is screwed into a sleeve 3, and passes through a bore in the plug 5 into an annular channel 10 in the member 6 and enters the clearance through a helical passage 11 formed on the lower part of the plug. In a modified construction the fuel is supplied to the channel 10 past a ball valve resting on a disc supported by a spring.
