Abstract

An austenitic corrosion-resistant steel alloy contains 6-14 per cent of nickel, 14-24 per cent of chromium, 1-3 per cent of aluminium, 0,25-2 per cent of titanium, and up to 0,25 per cent of carbon, with or without up to 2 per cent of silicon and up to a total of 5 per cent of other elements such as manganese, tungsten, vanadium, and molybdenum.
