[Class 126] In a cooking stove with the fire at one side of the oven c and a flue space surrounding the oven, a baffle e extends between the fire and the oven so as to divide the flue into two passages, and apertures f, g are provided in the side d of the firebox above and below the baffle so that one part of the combustion products pass over the top and down the far side of the oven, while the other part passes down the whole of the near side and under the bottom of the oven, before both parts issue through the outlet k to the chimney. A regulator at the outlet k may be adjusted to regulate the draught. A grate a for an open fire, and a superposed grate b for a closed fire, may be provided. The grate b is hinged at one side and supported at the other by a tongue l which is movable to let the grate fall.
