[Class 102 (i)] In a multi-cylinder fuel inj ection pump, each cylinder sleeve 2 is held in position by a nipple 4 and when the latter is slackened the cylinder sleeve may be adjusted circumferentially by rotating a pin 7 having an eccentric extension 7a engaging a slot 2c. In this manner the output of an individual cylinder is adjusted. The output of the unit is varied by a common control means which rotates the pump pistons. The ends of the pins 7 are marked by slots to indicate the position of the eccentric portion 7a. Specification 401,177 is referred to.
