478,295. Fuel-injection pumps. CESKOSLOVENSKA ZBROJOVKA AKCIOVA SPOLECNOST, BRNO. May 11, 1937, No. 13458. Convention date, May 12, 1936. [Class 102 (i)] In a radial-cylinder internal-combustion engine, the fuel-injection pumps are also arranged radially and the plungers 14 are actuated by a cam 5 engaged by a roller 9 carried by a lever 6 which is connected to the plunger 14 by a rod 10. The output of the pump is varied by a rotation of the plunger and an extension 15 on the plunger engages a transverse groove in the end of the rod 10. A pin 25 fixed to the rod 10 and parallel thereto engages a cylindrical member 22 arranged to have rotary and longitudinal movement in a ring 20 guided in the engine casing. A rod 30 is connected to the ring 20 in a similar manner by the pin 34 and the output of the pumps is adjusted by the lever 40.
