Convention date, Aug. 26,1933. [Class 110 (iii)] A group of geared turbines comprises H.P. turbines A, B arranged in series, and L.P. turbines C, D working mainly in parallel. The turbine C has a section 1, 2 through which the whole of the steam passes. The steam is then divided, one part passing through the stages 3, 6, to an exhaust m, and the other part passing through the divided flow turbine D to exhausts n. Reversing sections are provided in the L.P. turbines.
