417,575. Reamers. ETABLISSEMENTS J. FLORIMOND & H. CHABARDES, 58, Rue Denis-Papin, Pantin, Seine, France. May 29, 1934, No. 16045. Convention date, Sept. 1, 1933. [Class 83 (iii).] A reamer has a cylindrical extension on which an expansible centring device is mounted so as to allow the reamer to be moved axially relatively to it. The reamer A which may be adjustable, has a cylindrical extension 2 over which an adjustable guide B is arranged. to slide freely but without play, the latter is adjusted by a nut 9 which bears against a cone 8 and in conjunction with the coned end of the sleeve 4, opens out segments 5 held together by a band spring 7. The guide is positioned in a hole to be reamered in advance of the reamer, the cylindrical extension centring the tool.
