Abstract
356,349. Bowden mechanism. BOWDEN WIRE, Ltd. and NISBET, A. H., Bowden Works, Victoria Road, Willesden Junction, London. June 25, 1930, No. 19351. [Class 80 (iii).] In a twist grip control having an annular member 3 for the reception of the end of the wire a rigid guide tube 8 is provided to give a gradual change from the peripheral to the axial direction. An additional wire attached to a collar 15 having a finger-piece 21 may be housed in a similar tube 22. The collars 3, 15 are housed in grooves in a clamping ring 10, 11. The guide tubes are also applicable,. to the actuated device.
