Abstract

503,714. Ski- - stick. TANGVALD, T. June 28, 1938, No. 19178. Convention date, July 1, 1937. [Class 132 (i)] A ski-stick which is adjustable in length comprises two tubular parts 1 and 2 telescoping one within the other, a tapped sleeve member 8 being provided which screws on to an end of the external tubular part 2, said member and part having co-operating conical extensions, of which that on the telescopic part is longitudinally slotted so as to be contracted about the inner part 1 and grip it when the member 8 is screwed up in order to hold the stick at the desired length. One of the telescopic parts may be provided with a pin or projection working in a slot in the other part in order to prevent the parts being altogether separated when the grip is released.
