Abstract

408,356. Spray carburetters. BOSCH AKT.-GES., R., 4, Militõrstrasse, Stuttgart, Germany. Oct. 28, 1932, No. 30235. Convention date, Nov. 26, 1931. [Class 7 (iii).] In a carburetter of the submerged-jet type having a mixture throttle c and a hand-operated air valve d for starting purposes, an auxiliary air passage g passes through the fuel nozzle e and delivers air into the mixing chamber when the valve d is closed. An auxiliary air passage x controls the fuel flow in the nozzle during normal running. As the valve d is opened, a valve n is pushed by levers k, m over the inlet i to the passage g to cut off the auxiliary air supply.
