146,388. Bonduelle, G. A. March 25, 1918, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Act]. Spray carburettors.-An adjustable tube 11 is placed opposite the inclined spraying nozzle 15, a spring-pressed sliding valve 5 controlling air admission to the tube for the necessary correction due to altitude of the machine on which the carburettor is used. For starting and slow running an independent jet 21, Fig. 2, is used delivering beyond the throttle 9; fuel for this jet is obtained from the main jet and passes through a channel 17, Figs. 1 and 2, to an annular chamber 19, the flow to the jet 21 being controlled by a valve 20 Additional air may be admitted to the starting jet through openings 22, the amount being controlled by adjusting the nozzle with respect to the tube 24.
